It's alarming!! I don't tend to believe the national poll, but this poll really should wake us up!! NH is a swing state, does this represent a general trend or just an abnormality? I'm confused!!

the only poll that matters is the one on election night.

All this really means is that we have to get out and vote in November.

I don't care about this poll. Bush is winning New Hampshire. It is NOT a liberal state like those around it.

I'm confusedYou certainly are. Articles posted to FreeRepublic are supposed to be headed by their actual titles not your emotional reaction to them. Since this is your first day, I'm assuming that you are sincere in this posting but perhaps you're simply trying to suggest these results would upset people here. There's been a lot posted on polls recently. I suggest you read them when they come up and lurk for awhile.

I've never before seen "I'm so depressed!" in an FR thread title - but I've seen it lots of times at the DUHmmie playground.
Intersting that this is your first post here. Well, not really interesting...yawn.

The telephone poll of 511 adults Not "likely voters"... not even "registered voters"... just "adults". Oh yeah... this is a solid tracking poll...

Bush has been ineffective so far. I was less than impressed with his Meet the Press appearance, and Bush has been terrible at defending the War in Iraq and the stupid AWOL stuff. It is too early to panic as Kerry is unknown and has lots of far-left liberal warts that won't sit well with the swing voters. But still Bush needs to run an effective campaign, but as of yet hasn't.

Well dang it... just get a rope and hang it! Troll that is.

All the dems do is lie. Take Enron for example, they blame Bush for this and try to tie him to it. The crimes occured mainly during the Clinton years, and he let them slide. Bush put a stop to it, as he has many other corporate theivery. Check out DU sometime and look for Enron threads as an example.
Clinton let them raid the hen house, Bush has put the hammer down on them. Dems don't want people to believe that. Wonder why?

You gave yourself away by saying that you were depressed. Only the Left allows the government to dictate their personal happiness.
To: royalfighter
You know, I understand you depression.
Here in the 2000 election of President George W. Bush I thought that a new day was dawning on our America. I was right but for all the wrong reasons.
At this stage in the game, other than the tax cuts and the War on Terror, I'm seriously wondering just who the heck is this man that I voted for.
The spending on unwanted, needless and useless government programs is out of control. Our borders have ceased to exist for all practicle purposes. Smut and filth is being rammed down our throats on a daily basis, to an even greater degree than what we experienced with the clinton regime. Homosexuals with the assistance of the mayor of San Francisco are defiling the age old institution of marriage and no one is lifting a finger to stop this garbage.
I don't know what to do, where to turn or what is coming next. Calling my elected representitives is about as fruitful as whizzing in the wind. They don't seem to give a flying f*** about anything that is going on or what my concerns as a taxpaying citizen are.
Well.... I've had my vent, here. I'm going back to the only thing that soothes my nerves....cleaning my weapons.
