Your wasting your breath. We have tried to get these WODdie clods to understand that the Constitution is not an enumeration of rights for years now. They refuse to get it. They refuse to read Madison. I don't know what more we can be expected to do to help them.

We do not assert that Bill Clinton alone caused the effect. The general culture, both elite and pop, has much to do with it. But there also you will note that Bill Clinton took his saxophone and deliberately joined and sought to use the pop culture, such as it is, despite his clever attack on Sister Souljah. But why are individuals spouting very bad poetry about "hos" and cop-killing given a free ride on their very bad art and even lionized for it? Does it not parallel the free ride given to so-called "black readers" who participate with them in destroying our culture rather than creating within it? Are these things not of a piece?

The war on drugs can't be won, the same way the 'war on crime' can't. Doesn't mean you throw in the towel. Just means it's a stupid name for crime control.

If that wasn't a rhetorical question, the answer is, apparently "yes".

Let's assume for a minute that they "win" the WOD.

Impossible

Doesn't mean you throw in the towel.

When coupled with the fact that the whole thing is moronic, it means exactly that.

To me, moronic is allowing unrestricted access to any life destroying drug out there.

Guess it's a different definition for some. To some, moronic means not being able to get high when they want.

To most others though, the opposite is moronic.

"Impossible"

I came to the conclusion in 1985 that the WOD was over, the bad guys won. I still feel that way.

To me, moronic is destroying the country while attempting to restrict people from doing things which do not concern you.

To most others though, the opposite is moronic.

Nice try at an old trick, pretending you have a majority position as if it would make any difference to whether something is right or wrong.

Who are the bad guys? People who are pursuing happiness? Those bad guys? Don't confuse stupid with bad.

Oh, I don't think my opinion is right because a majority backing of it. It's right from the foundations of it.

And you're using hyperbole.. 'destroying' the country.

Almost all laws out there restrict people from doing 'what they want' in some cases. Too bad.

Also, I think legalized drugs tend to destroy a country far far worse than law enforcement.

It's right from the foundations of it.

Incorrect, but your opinion is noted before being discarded.

And you're using hyperbole.. 'destroying' the country.

The first prohibition created a generation of lawbreakers, the country has never recovered. It's not hyperbole just because you don't understand history.

Almost all laws out there restrict people from doing 'what they want' in some cases. Too bad.

Which has nothing whatsoever to do with rights.

Also, I think legalized drugs tend to destroy a country far far worse than law enforcement

It never occurred to me that you would feel any other way. Many people value power over others and a feeling of moral superiority more than freedom. That is why the experiment failed and tyranny reigns.

Former Rep. Bob Barr (search), R-Ga., now a civil liberties advocate, said that on a recent visit to a small West Georgia police department, the chief showed off several shiny new M-16 rifles provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency

For the children, no doubt.

"The federal government is encouraging the militarization of local police forces by giving away weaponry and providing advisers," Barr said, commenting on general trends in policing, not only on anti-drug policies.

Just another liberdopertarian who wants to smoke pot, obviously.
