I just talked to my daughter. She has a Hewlett Packard with Windows XP and she is having the same problem. I ran the virus scan and it says its clean.

I also am running Win XP on a 9 month old Hewlett Packard; everything comes up clean when I scan for bugs, but *something* sure has my computer throwing some hissy-fits lately.
