I need votes to help me decide what to present my son for his 27th birthday dessert when he's here for dinner Sunday.

1. Lemon cheesecake with super-tangy cherries
2. Fruit (like apple) pie with ice cream
3. Berry pie with ice cream

RE: Your son's b-day dessert--

I love cheesecake so that's my vote!

However, the other choices sound delicious, too, and I'm sure any one of them would be a success. :-)

Cheesecake gets my vote. (That's the birthday "cake" tradition for my daughter. When she was first married, her husband thought it was terrible that I hadn't made a regular cake for her in years. She said she told him that she prefers the cheesecake, and that taste wins out over tradition.) ;)

My late husband, on the other hand, preferred pie. (But because his birthday was on Christmas Day, he always had his choice of lots of pies that my mom had made.)

I vote cheesecake. It is now the official birthday cake, and Christmas Day breakfast, of our family. :-)

(Oh, with klicker strawberries)
