How about kids of Alumni, that discriminates also.
I believe this was brought up in one of the Texas schools -- that since a vast majority of alumni are white then its de facto racism to give out scholarships based on your parent's attendance.
I thought it was a somewhat convincing argument. If you're going to give out slots that have no basis on how good the student is, how can anyone complain when slots are given out to try and bring in more minority students?
