Speaks to how realy disenheartened the Democratic base is. The media amps the dust it up considerably so it appears as boulders. The same with the economy. If the true economic picture were a hospital patient, it'd be in the ICU.

Yet even amoung the most lib media heads the economy is just dandy and vital.

I'm starting to think that Susan Estrich has a drinking problem. In the afternoon, her lips are sealed, she speaks only to parrot the party line.
At night, watch out, she tends to spill the beans!

Chris Matthews just suggested that Kerry should blame Matt Drudge if he loses

That Kerry-fellating bastard may have just had an attack of broken clock syndrome. I'm wondering if the Rats aren't suffering from some "closing the deal" jitters about Kerry. The Drudge story and the Fonda picture can't have helped ease their concerns.

40% KERRY, 38% EDWARDS 14% DEAN w/ very little of the vote in.

MY GOODNESS, Dean is getting his ass whooped.

Since this appears to be becoming the defacto thread for Wisconsin returns, how about changing the title to WISCONSIN DEM PRIMARY THREAD or something.

Well, I've not been following the exit polls enough to catch the meaning of your observation, so if you'd kindly elucidate me, I'd be appreciative.

Actually Dean is holding steady right around the 15%-17% he gets in almost every primary. The Deanaics are committed to him and no one else. Many will probably vote for Nader, the Watermelon candidate, or write in Dean come election day in November.

Polls regarding a potential race between Bush and Kerry. If Kerry falters in WI, then I'd guess those polls are skewed...

It will be interesting to see vote breakdown... and if GOP crossovers went with Dean or Edwards. My guess is that the independents went with Edwards. I do believe that Kennedy hanging around in Wisconsin did more harm to Kerry than good. Carter shellacked Kennedy in Wisconsin in 1980.

The scandal has served its purpose in slowing down John F. Kerry. This means the nomination won't be settled til Super Tuesday and the results mean there's every reason for John Edwards and Mad Howard to remain in the race. A big chunk of the Democratic convention delegates have still to be awarded. Keep your eye on this one folks, if the numbers add up as the FOX NEWS exit poll indicates.

I think Hillery is happy...Edwards will never win, too young too inexperienced, but he's about to give Kerry one hell of a bad time......<p.Dean may drop out and endorse Edwards

Yeah, but the scream was AFTER the loss. He was already goin' downhill when he let it out.

I don't think it made a big difference.
