The question could be asked the other way.

Why should Judge Moore be allowed to ignore a court order? He wasn't, of course, but there are many who beleive what he did was right.

And there is a significant overlap between those two sets.

Of course, those that so believed, didn't get their way - law won out. Hopefully it will win out again, but for some reason I'm feeling cynical.

According to Moral Law, as founded in the original law of Man the Bible, One who follows the Ten Commandments of God, will be in Gods favor, and live in Eternal Light.

Those who follow the root of Sodom and Gomorah, can look forward to morphing into Pillars of Salt.

This is the standard before any other laws were written.
