Vietnam War Illuminates, Shadows Kerry's Campaign

...Good soldiers do their duty and keep their mouths shut. They don't come home to criticize their country's mission while others are still fighting. But that, in his view, is what Kerry did.

Standing nearby, Vietnam veteran Brian Hoffman, 58, begs to disagree. To him, Kerry was a hero who performed the most difficult duty of all.

"John Kerry (news - web sites) returned from battle to speak out against what he considered an unjust war," the Army veteran said. "Who can fault him for that?"

Almost three decades after America ended its involvement there, Vietnam is playing a pivotal, if fractious, role in the nation's presidential race.

Interesting that there are roughly 3 paragraphs about the slime named JFKerry, and the rest of the article is about how "hard" it was for him to "stand up and do the right thing."

I heard that Kerry stayed on four (4) months in the war theater. Also he requested and was moved from the war area after three minor wounds.

Kerry didn't just demonstrate against an unjust war,,he called his "band of brothers" war criminals, lied about them and gave them black eyes for the world. That is a far cry from a principaled stand against a war.

True, but the fact that the LA Times is doing puff pieces about Kerry's Benedict Arnold activities shows the Left is clearly worried about this issue. They have portrayed Kerry as being the ally of the man in uniform, the hero of Vietnam Vets. That myth is not matching reality so the LA Slimes and the rest know they have to get busy creating reality.

John F. Kerry was then, is now, and always will be a "One Worlder" (Read: Marxist-Socialist) Anyone who does not fear this man coming to power in this Country deserves whatever Kerry's New World Government brings him.

The rest of us will be buying a lot more ammunition.
