This weekend in Kemah, TX a great Mardi Gras celebration
is going on complete with the Yachty Gras Boat Parade
with lots of beads at the Kemah Board Walk.
The Truck Parade on Sunday in old town Kemah
will have the Hotly Contested Chair of the Galveston Republican
Party candidates Sandra Kelly and Chris Stevens in it and
all the other Republicans candidates in it. So come
on down and cheer them on the Neighbor Hood Democrats
will also have a float! I am supporting the challenger
Chris Stevens

Yachty Gras Boat Parade

Golly, how I miss running our big ol' Chris Craft all decorated up in that parade, lo, those many years ago!

I best not mention the partys before and after. [GRIN]

Absolutely! Kemah is very family friendly.

I would recommend against taking them to the Galveston Mardi Gras celebration though.

The pictures tell the story!
This is a kid friendly town and
we are backed up by a strong
Kemah Merchants Association
and City Council who know family
friendly makes economic sense.

Thank you both so much. It has been so long since I have been to Kemah that I wasn't sure. The link was great!

Anymouse, thank you for the warning of the Galvestion events!

The daytime Galveston parades and events are probably ok, but the evening Mardi Gras celebration can get pretty wild.

Howdy Neighbor!

I'm just across the bridge in Seabrook.
Looks like fun and a lot closer than Galveston. A lot more sane too, I'm sure.
