The fake NG allegations they media has pushed in order to not only falsely accuse Bush but to shift attention from Kerry's disgraceful military record and his sordid personal life and also in an indirect way to discredit the National Guard.

"Later, Kerry sought to minimize the rift, telling Alexander, "Our differences occurred when we were kids, or at least close to being kids"
Kerry was around 25 when he was in Vietnam, right?

Are we talking far left and moderately left ?.. or hanging from a few end feathers on the leftwing(Kerry) to so far leftwing your flying in circles(Mclaim)... cause Mclaim is not anywhere near riding on the political birds back(center)...

Well, this really put fat in the fire... McCrazy is a very vengeful man with a short fuse. He has a very twisted mind and will do anything to get attention. Somewhere I have filed a printout of McCain's roommate at the Hanoi Hilton that warns about trusting him and that 'He is not a good American.' This was way back when he was trying to act presidential during an election cycle. As a Vet I can tell you I developed an instant dislike for the man the minute I saw him and I would never trust him in combat nor would I ever associate with him. Instincts matter...

It would be a no-brainer of a bet Kerry's current comments regarding the war in Iraq are being used by our enemies this very day to recruit support.
Remember how the North Vietnamese leaders drew hope from the likes of Kerry and Fonda to hold out and continue the fight just a while longer in the hopes the shifting political opinion in the US would reach a tipping point so Nixon would give up to maintain power. How this was the tipping argument at the top North Vietnamese decision making levels during peace negociations. Their hopes were well rewarded and ensuing events cost millions their lives.
Who can credibly argue circumstances are not exactly the same today. Different players different times....but the same question and the same dynamics.
Are not Kerry and the Democrates once again giving support to our enemy? Worse yet, who, with even a casual understanding of history, honestely believes Kerry and the Democrates do not understand they are costing American soldiers their lives?
Frankly America, they don't give a Damn!

Later, Kerry sought to minimize the rift, telling Alexander, "Our differences occurred when we were kids, or at least close to being kids. Now I've heard everything.
Kerry was born in 1943, and he gave this testimony in the early 70s. He was 30 years old, for crying out loud.

Disgusting.
Kerry shouldn't be President, he should be tried for treason.

They used Senator Fullbright a great deal," And you'll recall that Senator Fullbright was Bill Clinton's patron in his early days in politics, and even before. I seem to remember a Hillary connection to the Senator as well? Maybe just to his committee? Anyone recall?

Later, Kerry sought to minimize the rift, telling Alexander, "Our differences occurred when we were kids, or at least close to being kids. It was a long time ago, and we both came back and realized that there were a lot of difficulties in the prosecution of that war." Yeah, Kerry, and you were one of the major difficulties.

You know, McCain could start healing the Vietnam wounds by driving his Straight Talk Express right up to every media outlet, and TELLING THE TRUTH RE: Kerry's Vietnam experiences. He needs to talk often, talk loud, and not stop until the truth is out. And I don't mean in a book. He could go a long way to restoring his reputation in the Republican party.
