Well, then I can't see how she ALSO gave an interview about her "affair" to a US tv network. Considering how this story was spiked their response will be: "Interview? What interview? (meanwhile, ripping ribbon from cassette and into trash)"

Depends on the definition of "relationship". Same story, different day.
Relationship in her context infers some sort of an ongoing affair. She did NOT say she never had sex with him.

The "interview" and the parent quotes both come from that bastion of reliable journalism, The Sun. It is a bit presumptuous to automatically dispute any story that contradicts those accounts. It may be true, or it may not, but a story in The Sun is not evidence of anything.
