I wonder how much those two votes cost.
Here is another famous denial:

Monica Lewinskys Affidavit
ABCNEWS.com
Following is former White House intern Monica Lewinskys affidavit, filed in Paula Jones sexual harassment suit against the president. In it, Lewinsky denies having had a sexual relationship with President Clinton.
After receiving secretly recorded tapes that showed Lewinsky bragging about performing sex acts on the president, Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr launched a grand jury investigation to determine whether she was pressured to lie under oath.
In his testimony in the Jones case, Clinton denies that he had sex with Lewinsky.
1. My name is Jane Doe. I am 24 years old and I currently reside at 700 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20037.
2. On December 19, 1997, I was served with a subpoena from the plaintiff to give a deposition and to produce documents in the lawsuit filed by Paula Corbin Jones against President William Jefferson Clinton and Danny Ferguson.
3. I cannot fathom any reason that the plaintiff would seek information from me for her case.
4. I have never met Ms. Jones, nor do I have any information regarding the events she alleges occurred at the Excelsior Hotel on May 8, 1991 or any other information concerning any of the allegations in her case.
5. I worked at the White House in the summer of 1995 as a White House intern. Beginning in December 1995, I worked in the Office of Legislative Affairs as a staff assistant for correspondence. In April 1996, I accepted a job as assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Defense. I maintained that job until December 26, 1997. I am currently unemployed but seeking a new job.
6. In the course of my employment at the White House I met President Clinton several times. I also saw the President at a number of social functions held at the White House. When I worked as an intern, he appeared at occasional functions attended by me and several other interns. The correspondence I drafted while I worked at the Office of Legislative Affairs was seen and edited by supervisors who either had the President's signature affixed by mechanism or, I believe, had the President sign the correspondence itself.
7. I have the utmost respect for the President who has always behaved appropriately in my presence.
8. I have never had a sexual relationship with the President, he did not propose that we have a sexual relationship, he did not offer me employment or other benefits in exchange for a sexual relationship, he did not deny me employment or other benefits for rejecting a sexual relationship. I do not know of any other person who had a sexual relationship with the President, was offered employment or other benefits in exchange for a sexual relationship, or was denied employment or other benefits for rejecting a sexual relationship. The occasions that I saw the President after I left my employment at the White House in April 1996 were official receptions, formal functions or events related to the U.S. Department of Defense, where I was working at the time. There were other people present on those occasions.
9. Since I do not possess any information that could possibly be relevant to the allegations made by Paula Jones or lead to admissible evidence in this case, I asked my attorney to provide this affidavit to plaintiff's counsel. Requiring my deposition in this matter would cause disruption to my life, especially since I am looking for employment, unwarranted attorney's fees and costs, and constitute an invasion of my right to privacy.
I declare under the penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
Monica S. Lewinsky
My thoughts exactly and if we had a media that wasn't an ally of the Left, we might have an investigation into the matter.
Okay, how about a little analysis of what we have (realizing that all of the 'information' is dubious):
- W. Clark, witnessed by 3 reporters said that Kerry would implode over an 'intern issue'. (Note not "affair".)
- Reports circulate that former AP writer Alex Polier is the intern in question.
- Kerry issues a denial of an affair.
- The London bureau chief for the Washington Post reports that all that is known about her is that her parents are Republicans.
- The Sun reports her father called Kerry a 'sleazebag'.
- Her parents issue a denial, and say they will vote for Kerry.
- A. Polier, now with her fiance in Kenya, issues a denial of a relationship with Kerry and asks to be left alone.
- Also from Kenya, we have reports that a 'friend' of hers said the story won't go away, 'it's nastier than is being reported.'
- From propertius, a Freeper in Kenya, we learn that the circles in which A.P.'s finace circulate include lots of unsavory characters associated with D. arap Moi (the Kenyan kleptarch) and Nigerian drug dealers.
- We have denials that A.P. was an intern for Kerry, but pictures of his 2002 interns with a woman who looks like her.
- Kerry's current wife is also from East Africa, being the daughter of a white Portugese Mozanbiquan.
- We have a post of what claims to be A.P.'s page at the dating website Friendster, with a comment supposedly from Yaron (her finance) about her advocating 'open marriage' and having lots of girlfriends.
The assembled here at FR either want to drop the matter, or keep focusing on the apparent inconsistencies in her parent's reported statements.
How about the possibility that the friend's comment 'much nastier than is being reported' is the key? Could it be that the bland, and for the moment, let us assume truthful, denials of an affair are cover for some other scandalous behavior even more damaging? There are threads to follow: the 'open marriage' lots of girl friends, the connections with corrupt white East African society, the possibility that the issue is not an affair but sexual harrassment, and probably others. Is anyone in the press or at FR looking at these?
