Oil for Saddam's Influence Machinery, Point of View: 16 February 2004, Monday.
By Oliver North The Washington Times [excerpt]
The latest revelation to emerge from Iraq is provided by the Baghdad-based newspaper Al-Mada, which recently published the names of more than 200 individuals and organizations in more than 40 countries who are alleged to have received oil payoffs from Saddam Hussein in exchange for their support. It could represent just the tip of the iceberg, in terms of showing how Saddam used his petroleum and cash to purchase friends and favors.

This is very complicated in that there will be a certain amount of people in power to do or not things and I think they have many reasons to make correct decisions. However correct as relates a maverick cannot always be applied. For example, if a person has the creativity to put his personal wealth on hold and work towards a common advancement, should he be pillaried and distracted at every turn.Let not this new turn of self -critizem poison even those who've spent so much to arrive at a point at which they cannot proceed.
