Everybody happily quotes him saying this. He was vetted by the Gore campaign. They passed, which sort of implies that he didn't.

I'm going to suppose that Kerry's affair is untrue. But the timing makes me think of Hillary and a possible scenario

"Let's see if anyone STILL really cares about a PresidentiaL candidates personal behind the scenes stuff?" or have we been able to neutralize this issue?
