The young woman at the centre of the sex scandal allegations against presidential hopeful John Kerry has recorded a tell-all interview for an American TV station.
Reporter Alexandra Polier is said to have given the interview with a major US network before Christmas - but the channel has held back from showing it until it can verify that her claims are true.
It was reported last week that the TV news division of ABC was investigating the 27-year-old's alleged relationship with Senator Kerry, who is said to have pestered her to join his campaign team.
The channel has refused to say if it is working on the story.

Has anyone heard from our freeper on the ground in Kenya yet? He seemed like he was close to some choice information.

No, it was the last one. He wrote a vanity about it. He posted a quote from a source in Kenya on that thread that did not appear in the news media until a day later.

The Telegraph posted an article with almost that exact quote as the headline the NEXT day.

....gary hart had to quit the race Good analogy.
Imus is on vacation this week, but if it turns out that f'n lied to him, he's toast there also. It may be 'over but the shoutin' ' by this hour next week.
Note to Hillary!: Now what?

Our freeper in Kenya with this story is propertius. I asked if his source may have talked to the press as well. Propertius replied. "I know the person who spoke to me spoke to some other people."

Here are some of the latest DUmmie comments on this very same story:
I hope to God this isn't true!
If it is true it is better if it comes out now
I'm so old school. If you eff a married man, it's polite not to talk about it, because the wife is not your enemy and, hopefully, neither is the guy who was nice enough to have sex with you. This is just rude.
wonder how much Rove paid her to go along with HIS story...
Exactly why Dean and Edwards should not quit the race!! People who were supporting Kerry will support either one of them. ABB!!!
What's with the young girls these days anyway -- I mean 'in the old days' we did not kiss and tell all. There was a generally accepted 'code' between a man and a woman that what happened between us, stayed between. Isn't intimacy supposed to be, well, you know, 'intimate?'
I don't think that Kerry would screw anyone who wasn't rich or important. This story is obviously false
I don't think you'd want to make Theresa mad. She strikes me as a tough woman. How did he end up with her anyway? They seem like an odd match. Not that they're not in love with one another. Just curious.
If this is true. Kerry is an idiot for running. What a waste of everyone's time.
It's over for Kerry. That's it, stick a fork in him., He's done. There is absolutely no way Kerry can win now. If Kerry is nominated, the Democrats will lose everything in a landslide and the Republicans will have a filibuster proof Senate. I am so pissed off at Kerry right now I cannot see straight. Why can't Democratic leaders keep their peckers in their pants?
You may not care but his very-rich wife might care. Without her he is broke unless contributers bail him out for the second mortgage he got to take it all from Dean.
If there is even an OUNCE of truth to this- Kerry should drop out I-M-M-E-D-I-A-T-E-L-Y, if not sooner, and he's a total asshole for even running in the first place. Anybody with a potential BimboGate in their background should just give up on any possible aspirations to the Presidency that they might entertain...unless they're a Repuke- then by all means, go for it.
Kerry Lied, Our Hopes For The White House Just Died! Who is up next...Edwards?? Christ on a cracker, we're in some serious trouble if she talks
Not worried at all. If Kerry's guilty of infidelity, he's out. And we get a more progressive front-runner. No problem there! But, inevitably and unenviably, Kerry has to answer to Heinz. And she once famously promised to "maim" her first husband if she caught him cheating...

Here's the Telegraph article:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2004/02/15/wus15.xml&sSheet=/portal/2004/02/15/ixportaltop.html It's headline:
'This won't go away. What happened is much nastier than is being reported'
By Adrian Blomfeld in Nairobi and Andrew Alderson
(Filed: 15/02/2004)
------
And here's the post number 40 from that thread:
Don't know if she was in intern. Yes you can call a cell phone from the U.S.
Just heard from a friend of Alex's that "this thing has a long way to run... it's much nastier than it sounds"...

So what do we have here so far?
We've got an interview this Polier woman gave with ABC BEFORE Christmas.
This article here says ABC is sitting on it until they can verify the details.
What details would they have to verify?
All the reports to this point have said she fled to Kenya at Kerry's urging. (recently, from what I can gather)
Clark said last week that Kerry would implode over an intern issue.
"It's nastier than what's being reported."
Can anybody make sense out of this?
To: Prodigal Son
Did she flee after Clark made that remark to reporters?

Clark said last week that Kerry would implode over an intern issue. "It's nastier than what's being reported."
So what kind of families send their daughters to be interns for DemocRATS? You'd think someone would have learned something after Monica Lewinski, and Chandra Levy. The 'RATS seem to have lost all moral decency.

The thing is, she wasn't an intern was she?
I can only assume that by 'intern issue' Clark was alluding to a Clinton-type scandal and not an intern per se. That was just sort of a code way of saying 'sex scandal'.
This Polier's dad is on the record as saying he thinks Kerry is a sleazeball.
To: Prodigal Son
Unless there is another "intern" (or interns) and the stories got mixed up. Seems like there are more shoes to drop here...
To: KQQL
OK, so ABC knew about this going back to Christmas. They were trying to keep this buried throughout the whole primary season. If it hadn't been Drudge who shed the light on this story, no one would be fighting to be the second news outfit in this country to report this story. This is like Newsweek spiking the Lewinsky story. ABC will probably take credit for reporting it first.
