You would think that everything is fine. It is not! Proposals that dismiss behavior that created this mess REALY only exasperate and perpetuate policy that created it in the first place. Ex: You don't throw water on a grease fire. Bush's proposals may put a lid on the fire to stem the fire. What needs to be done is remove the pan from the heat as well...maybe learn how to cook!
