A note to Woolsey's opponent:
Hire this girl immediately!Even if you don't defeat her, you can render Woolsey ineffective. Who would want to be accused of buying HER influence?

Woolsey, D-Petaluma. Not much of a feminist.

...Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey is dedicated to giving working families the tools they need to take care of their children...
and make them available to rapists.

Thank you and I hope others on this forum will do the same.

I unfortunately live in Woolsey's district. Her big claim to fame is that she was a welfare mom. She is one of the most leftists members of the House and brags she is to the left of Maxine Waters. The old leftists up here love her and she always gets 60% plus of the votes. The influence of the SF Bay Area and its leftists have spilled over into our area. It is very lonely being a conservative up here.
To: lafroste
She wants the perp destroyed and is willing to go that extra mile to accomplish that goal. Three cheers for Tina Phan.
She's already exacted her culture's greatest form of retribution: "He humiliated himself, his whole family."
But she's obviously not done with the creep. More pain is to come.
I would very much hate to be in Woolsey's shoes right now. She's next.
It would not be surprising to see Tina Phan campaigning against her in the next election.

She should replace Woolsey. Unfortunately she's too young. A congressman must be at least 25 years old to hold office.

Hey, it's not as if Stewart Pearson did something really awful, such as provided a needed good or service and became a success, and hired people, and made a profit, and paid taxes.
To: BlessedByLiberty
Pressed on why she wrote the letter, Woolsey said last week she was not privy to the facts of the case. What did Woolsey think the guy was being sentenced for -- ripping the "Do Not Remove" tag off a mattress?
To: angkor
"Phan" is a Vietnamese surname. So, Woolsey not only defends violence against women, she defends hate crimes too? You know it this were a Republican, that's how the media would frame this.

Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey is dedicated to giving working families the tools they need to take care of their children.< P> How about a gun so we can shoot rapists?
Tina Phan is a brave young lady. She refuses to continue to be a victim. She is a survivor. Bravo!

This exemplifies liberal thought processes: react emotionally, do favors for friends and reject any attempt to learn the facts regarding any issue. Remember with Libs its the seriousness of the charges not the facts.<
Woolsey campaigned on her welfare mom status and her devotion to feminism. She protected Clinton and ignored the fact that a man sexually harassed an employee - he was President and Lewinsky a lowly employee. BR>
In this case Miss Phan has the seriousness of the facts on her side.

She refuses to continue to be a victim. She is a survivor. She's Vietnamese. That says it all.

Good post. I agree with everything you say!

If this story receied enough attention, perhaps the House could be cured of that cancer called Lynn Woolsey.
One thing about Woolsey, is that she is an unapologetic about her whacked out views. As a pro criminal lib, I can easily see her writing a letter on behalf of a rapist, without even looking into the crime.
I believe that Woolsey's story is that she was once on welfare, and she believed that qualified her to serve in Congress. Her district agreed and seent her there. I would much prefer to see her back on welfare and as far from Washington D. C. as possible.

Woolsey said last week she was not privy to the facts of the case. That pretty much sums up all liberal decisions!
