28 news stories concerning the alledged affair between Democratic frontrunner John Kerry and ex-AP writer and Kerry intern Alex Polier can be found on the net from various news organizations. Despite having by far the most news organizations on the net, the US accounts for just 4 of those stories. The UK on the otherand has 11. Australia/New Zealand even beat the US with 7 stories. India has just about as much coverage as the US with 3 stories. And the American media sources seem less interested in reporting the facts and more interesting in spinning the story as a right-wing smear.
Why are other countries doing more investigating and more reporting than the US?

The US media is intentionally keeping this story out of the news. The media seems more than willing investigate and call Bush's AWOL as soon as McCulliff gives the green light. Maybe someone in the GOP needs to raise the issue so it makes the 'news'.

I wish Petra Verkaik would give me some of that "Pole-ER".

Imagine the US press coverage if this intern had been working for any Republican member of Congress. More media hypocrisy.

Imagine the US press coverage if this intern had been working for any Republican member of Congress. Yeah, you just have to remember back to Arnold running for Governor to find the hypocripsy there.

Pronounced "Pole-ER".Recalling (with shame) the Hollywood name for one of their more (cough) willing stars: Ya Wanna Ride Her?

I am of the opinion that this bimbo story ,true or untrue ,is not an election decider.
Let the media investigate and all that will hurt him is his lying if it's true.Clinton proved that the dems are very forgiving about bimbos.
My opinion of Kerry is based on his left wing, internationalist, anti national security voting record.
I simply despise him for his betrayal of his brothers

Yeah, you just have to remember back to Arnold running for Governor to find the hypocripsy there. Exactly. You'd think the LA Times would feel obliged to run with this story just to be morally consistent- HA!
I won't hold my breath.

I was ROTFLOL today watching Brit try to explain to Cici, Juan and the other 2 guys about the ad. Brit could not get it through their heads that the ad was in reply to what Kerry had been saying and not because Bush was trying to prove he didn't take special interest money.
We have to start thinking like the irrational left when producing ads .. we must not allow them to twist what we are saying.

I think Gillespie did that on MTP today. He called Rangle's "awol" statement "slanderous", and then he smiled and said, "not that we're filing a lawsuit or anything".
My interpretation of Gillesie's statement was this: the President is throwing down the gauntlet re the "awol" and/or "deserter" statements. The dems have been put on notice .. this is slander, proceed at your own peril.

While I agree it may not affect dems (who think it's just about sex), I believe [if it's proved true] it will affect the independents or undecideds .. and it will not be FOR Kerry. A lot of independents and/or undecideds are former dems, and they became what they are because of the Clinton messes. There is no way they want to go down that road again.

More international stories are coming out, but the US media refuses to mention these allegations....
