Cedar City students made yesterday a special day even for those serving in Iraq who did not have the luxury of handing a love note personally to their sweetheart.
The Cedar City Youth City Council gathered a host of other students and put together hundreds of handmade Valentines that were sent to our troops.
Because of the logistics involved, this wasn't a spur-of-the-moment thing. The YCC put a lot of thought and effort into reminding our troops abroad that, even though they may be far from home, they are not far from our thoughts.

Something tells me that attitudes are shifting even more our way and the DU crowd hasn't figured it out yet. Let's hope it stays that way for the DU crowd and more of the countries attitude shifts our way.
