she will appoint Bill Clinton as the Head of the United Nations I don't believe an American can be Secretary General of the UN.

Also, the article says Hillary will have more money than Bush to campaign with. I don't believe that's so.
To: Prodigal Son
You are correct. No member of UN Security Counsel can also have someone from their country as Secretary General.

I don't believe an American can be Secretary General of the UN. I thought we discussed this last year.
Chapter III Article 7 and 8 of the Unitet Nations Charter says:
CHAPTER III
ORGANS
Article 7
- There are established as the principal organs of the United Nations:
a General Assembly
a Security Council
an Economic and Social Council
a Trusteeship Council
an International Court of Justice
and a Secretariat.
- Such subsidiary organs as may be found necessary may be established in accordance with the present Charter.
Article 8
The United Nations shall place no restrictions on the eligibility of men and women to participate in any capacity and under conditions of equality in its principal and subsidiary organs.
Article 8 seems to imply that anyone can be Secretary General.

"You should also remember that once Hillary becomes
President, she will appoint Bill Clinton as the Head of
the United Nations and their power will be solidified
throughout the world."
I like a good conspiracy theory as much as anyone, but I had to stop here. LOL, shades of Pinky and the Brain.
But why couldn't an American be Sec Gen of the UN? Because the UN is here? But it's in Geneva too, are the Swiss out of it also?
In any event, the POTUS doesn't "appoint" the head of the UN.
Regardless of all this, er, concern the choice will be plain to Americans in November and they will choose either to keep fighting Islamic terrorism (vote Bush) or to back off from the fight (vote Dem); if together we choose the latter, we are doomed.

I don't believe an American can be Secretary General of the UN. You are talking about a piece of paper. Words can be changed on a piece of paper. You are talking about the UN charter...rules. That can always be changed. Especially if Leftist rats are in control.

We already went through the nepotism deal with John F. Kennedy. He named his brother AG and it was recognized for what it was. There would be no question as to he won the election. JFK did of course. You can't do that anymore. She can name Bill to the healthcare task force. He knows a lot about hurting people.
