I wish the WH had as much going in its plan as you sketch. I think the President was much too honest and too polite on MTP. I was disappointed that he didn't say something like, "C'mon, Tim, the American people know that those allegations about my National Guard service are a lot of hooey!"

After doing some more reading and listening to news summaries of the past week, I must sadly conclude that the WH has its head up its ass so far regarding this campaign.

If the US had run the War on Terror with the same attitude and motivation as the WH is so far running this campaign, we'd still be in the UN arguing what sanctions to apply to the Taliban.
