[history]
Nobody wants to raise this puzzling but important question.
The single most puzzling -- and arguably most important -- question of the day is the one no one raises in public: Why have we not been attacked again?
We are coming up on two and a half years since Sept. 11. Think back: On Sept. 11, everybody was waiting for the other shoe to drop -- within days or weeks, but surely within months. When nothing happened, it was said that al-Qaida works on 18-month cycles, with long planning and preparation.

Like I said.
It's not necessary to point to the past.
I'll say this again for the intelligence impaired; after 9/11 the tempo changed dramaticly and it is not necessary to go into the past to act now which is what they are doing. Finally adults are in charge.
It's tinfoil only to the ignorant and blind

Thanks for the link. I had originally posted the entire article but the Sidebar Mod excerpted it because of the author.

The lack of more terrorist activity isn't such a mystery. The terrorist are not the grand intelligencia, or superior boogy men, that some of their democrat hand-holders would like us to believe.
All of the lesser world was stunned by President Bush's decision to face the Camel Dung head-on. No one was more surprised than the Camel Dung themselves. After all, their role model was William Jefferson Blythe (nee "Clinton").
This Clinton character, for lack of better terms, was "one of them". He had the good fortune of actually being born in the USA. Clinton didn't really give a goat's turd about ANY cause. But the leftist and socialist was the easiest way to achieve his personal goals: To get super-rich and be important. Ross Perot saw that he got his wish.
The Anti-USA crowd, even the ones that flew those planes that remarkable day, never thought they would have to answer for their evil.
The esteemed Jackie Gleason once said that if you look at a map of the USA, it looks like Florida is giving the finger to Cuba. Thanks to President Bush, Florida is now turned upside down and displaced to extends into Canada right about above the Dakotas.

Not if you're drinking some twelve year single malt and smoking a great cigar.

I thought he was too - but he is a hack willing to send men to die in wars that we have no business fighting and nothing to do with the security of this country. The man is a ghoul and a traitor and I wouldn't cross the street to relieve myself on him if he was on fire.

(Why vote for Bush? Imagine Commander in Chief John F'in Kerry!)

You just know if Gore had that axe, he'd cut off his own head with it. Only if Dorothy found the oil can!
For all the griping and moaning about the Patriot Act, and John Ashcroft from the liberals, I still don't know of any American citizens who have been even mildly inconvenienced by either, and our present government has been vigorous about keeping us safe.
Somebody pointed out to me that Tom Ridge was probably the most boring man in America, and I asked him if he was grateful for that fact.

does it mean I am crazy if I reply to my own posts? I don't know if you are crazy, but I do know that your first post stood on it's own. It needs no expounding, no defining and is indisputable and needs no reply.

That's right.
clinton was very entertaining but look at the trouble he got us into.
To: chuckwalla
In that statement I meant Krauthamer, A NEOCON hack and Bush butboy. But I was the same with Clinton as all know on this site.
So nope. I don't mean Clinton. I would like some Questions answered by Bush? Wouldn't you? Conservatives don't tolerate lies from government. You have not one question for Bush on why 540 Americans are dead and 3000 maimed and wounded? Even after David Kay?

No I don't have questions. Other than Bush should be drilling for our own oil and tell the rag heads to keep theirs.
I am intelligent enough to see what is going on.
From your language you are full of hate and that blinds you to the truth.
To: chuckwalla
No Questions? Not a one? My gosh- even Bush does and that is why he has appointed a commission to see how and why intel failed on WMD!? But you don't have even a question? And I am full of "hate?" I guess the parents, spouses, relatives, and friends of the Americans fallen in Iraq should also not want an answer? Are they filled with "hate"?

"Did Kraut boy write a column about that? "
You show ignorance making comments like that.
Apparently you don't know much about the author.
To: Burkeman1
The war is not over, the wmd are still to be found.
Deception is part of war. Strange things happen.
Yes YOU are full of hate. Don't be bringing others you don't know to hide from yourself and your lack of perception.
Bush has taken the war to them and the big swamp there.
Of course things are not going to go peachy smooth but they are going in the right direction.
Would you fault Churchill for Coventry?
To: chuckwalla
Bush's own man said there were none and there will be none. If you want to believe in the fantasy that "Bush is going to reveal them just before the war" idiocy then go ahead! And the fact that we now have troops being used as target pratice in Iraq is not a victory and how dare you suggest it is?
