I'm glad you find this amusing. Pathetic.

Naw, just my own sneering response to the deathless prose of those reporting the shootings, hardly the work of a *sniper* and not of a very effective shot at all. If the shootings weren't taking place in a locale where the citizenry is disarmed and the disarmers more occupied with other things.

I've been shot at before, best of all by those who expected me to be unarmed and incapable of doing anything about it, and found to their surprise I was not. And I am still here to tell the tale, and they are not.

And having also worked as a newspaperman in the Cinci area and having observed other similar stories in the area before, including the I-70 sniper- who really WAS a sniper; [and I was close enough to that story to hear the shots when State troopers armed with Browning automatic rifles put him out of business for good] three other serial killing stories in the Conci area and two elsewhere in Ohio, and a couple of other interesting events that somehow never seemed to ever get *solved*, I'm certainly not the only one who might be described as *pathetic,* nor the most deserving of such a term.

FYI - we have a shooter, using a hand gun who likes to shoot randomly at cars on freeways and country roads and at houses too. He has managed to kill one elderly woman who was a passenger in a car, that is only one time where he managed to hit a person and when he did it killed her.

They had one like that in Arkansas back in 1979, too. The only woman he killed was a woman reporter from the UPI statehouse bureau in Little Rock, in an excellent position to have heard some of the stories floating around about the just-sworn-in governor, and the woman he had raped in the Little Rock Doubletree hotel when he was Attorney General- Clinton was his name, as I recall. But the governor directed the State police to carefully investigate the *random sniping attacks, the work of a single crazed shooter* and no arrest or conviction ever resulted. Yes. That was Thomas Lee Dillon, one of the serial killers I made reference to in my previous post above.

Actually former Cinci mayor/talk show host Jerry Springer considered a run for either the Senate or Congress(can't remember), but dropped out. He made an unannounced appearance at our local sportsbar one night when I was out with family and friends there. Ruined the night for all of us.

As far as Clinton/Arkansas thing, I have no doubt about what caused the demise of that poor woman.

Well, so far as generally speaking the Judy Danielak murder does indeed seem to have at least one individual with an obvious motive who could have benefitted from her death. But that does not necessarily mean that he is the one who gave the order for her death, and it's a fact that at the time of her death, a lot of observers noted the odd choice of weapon for the *sniper* who shot her in the head while driving her car home from work: a .357 magnum revolver, similar to those then in use by the Arkansas highway patrol. Why it's as if a State Police car pulled up alongside her, and....

Saw this on one of the news channels. A witness said the guy was 6 ft. tall. Showed pics of the bullet hole. Scary stuff.

I agree a car will not stop a .50 rifle. My bet it is 7.62x39. I just have a feeling it is a sniper on a budget..
