Now that President Bush has released all of his service records, Sen. John Kerry has the responsibilty and obligation to release ALL of his service records. Will the press corps hound him until he does? This would, of course, include the situations under which he received his medals, and why he only served in Vietnam only 4 months, where most of his "brothers' tour lasted a year. There may be evidence that 2 of his 3 purple hearts were of the paper-cut variety, and could have been self-inflicted. He was well aware of the 3 and out regulation.
Inquiring minds want to know!

It's time to revist how Kerry got his medal and only spent 4 months in-country when a normal rotation is 18 months. His CO recommended the Silver Star after reading the after-action report written by Kerry.

These were my comments, but will the reporters ask the questions?

I was just about to ask you if Hades had frozen over - then I read the article. There isn't a single inquiring mind at MS-NBC.

Perhaps those medals Kerry threw over the fence were his own undeserving ones and not his friends...

I forgot about the 3 and out thing. Ofcourse my friends weren't lucky enough to be near those dangerous papers in Nam.

I wish the media would be more even-handed. But the close of the article is just stunning. At least it gives "credit" to Mr. Gregory for the hit. Something funny though, I think there have been polls that attempt to measure the public's sense of honesty and trustworthiness of the media, and it scores MUCH lower than President Bush!
An ABC News/Washington Post poll released Friday said Bush was at a low point in public approval, his popularity depressed by questions about the war in Iraq, continued economic frustration and public interest in Kerry.
It said that Bush's overall job approval rating had fallen to 50 percent and that his rating for honesty and trustworthiness had fallen to 52 percent, down 7 points from late October.
NBC's David Gregory, The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report.
