BTW folks - you're looking at "The New Journalism" right here on this thread. I agree. If there is any chance to save what's left of our constitutional republic, it lies with the growing alternative media with its power to do an "end run" aroung the mainstream press.
The political class will learn to hate the internet. A most critical battle over control of this new medium lies not far ahead.

Anyone heard just how long Polier and What's-his-name have been engaged? It gets weirder- look here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1077999/posts?page=8#8
"Polier's married? That's the first I've heard about it. None of the other articles mentioned it..."
"The last time I talked to her she'd sent me an e-mail from Israel where she was honeymooning," she said."

Whoa. (You've got a memory like a steel trap, BTW) Oh, boy... Appreciate the compliment, but I stumbled across that strange tidbit while looking for something else, just accidentally.
This whole thing looks more & more surreal, the farther it plays out.

I just realized that I've gotten email from these people.
Something about an Uncle at the Department of Mines who had left 35 million in a US bank account.

Our Man in Kenya! Keep reporting!

LOL. I'd be happy if info just made it in :) You gotta wonder why, if there's nothing to this, Kerry and Polier aren't parked on every news net mad as heck and screaming bloody murder.

very interesting. the two main projects mentioned on the web site -- mumias sugar and kipevu power have both been dogged by scandal. They were plundered by people close to biwott, the man who owns this company and who employs schwartzman.

Here's another question: I know Toon's got some ties to Kenya. Wonder if Toon's paw prints are on this?

Are you in contact with a friend of Alex?? In Kenya?
