“Today I am a young soldier, sworn to protect and defend this country. But if tomorrow I find that this nation is no longer the one based upon the freedom I was taught to love, I’ll have little choice but to go where I can live in freedom.”

sad to say, there are many soldiers in today's Army who would say "hell yeah!" to this statement. by far the minority, but there are plenty.

"Speaking on condition of anonymity, defense officials said Anderson signed on to extremist Internet chat rooms", so when was he zotted here, and what was his name?

This Anderson turd epitomizes bigotry, hatred and blind rage himself if he's trying to sell his own people out to Islamic filth like Al Qaeda.

Anderson also suggested that his allegiance to the United States was conditional.

Conditional upon it one day becoming an Islamic state, no doubt.

Amazing that a kid from Everett, of all places, would be a convert to islam. It is the most blue-collar, down-home, All-American place. You go to McDonalds and men hold the door open for you.

I am genuinely curious as to where/how this kid went to islam.

Hang him.

In a 1998 letter published by The Spokesman-Review newspaper in Spokane, he warned: "Today I am a young soldier, sworn to protect and defend this country. But if tomorrow I find that this nation is no longer the one based upon the freedom I was taught to love, I'll have little choice but to go where I can live in freedom."

It was his right to go and live somewhere else "in freedom" if he wanted to. But with his attempting to give aid to those who have declared war on us, and have sworn to kill Americans, he's committed treason, and deserves the death penalty. But he won't get it, just like Taliban Johnny didn't get it... Even though he was captured in a war zone!

Nope, since Congress didn't actually declare war, we're not legally at war. So he'll get off.

For attempting to put the lives of those he's serving with at risk, he's deserving of a firing squad.

“In my three years as an observant Muslim, I’ve encountered nothing but kindness, patience, courtesy and understanding from them,” he wrote in a November 2002 letter to the Herald of Everett. “On the other hand, I have experienced bigotry, hatred and mindless rage from so-called ‘educated thinkers’ here in the U.S.”

Not the sharpest tool in the toolbox, this guy.
Of course muslims will be kind, patient, courteous and understanding when you join their murder cult.

Try expressing you Christian religious views among them, Einstein, or try going into a Christian church in Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or Syria and report back to us.

Sometimes there is just evil in the world. Why would anyone convert to Islam on their own free will? A religion whose prophet was a pedophile. A religion whose prophet attacked merchant caravans traveling from Syria to Mecca. (In today’s terms we call that called terrorism.) A prophet that is exulted for killing off a Jewish tribe after each of the three Meccan Wars. (In today’s terms we call that ethnic cleansing.) You don’t have to look any further into this religion of peace. You don’t have to look at how Islam was spread by the sword. It is clearly documented in the writings of Islam and in history that Mohammad was; in today’s terms, what we would call a terrorist. Compare that to Jesus Christ.
