No one is saying that. She is over the top on this issue, IMO.
My brother was killed when he "foolishly" stepped on a landmine, by her logic.

(There are two sides to every argument, but I'm too busy to listen to yours.)

I'm sorry about your brother, and God bless him for his service.
However, you are not thinking logically about this. I am sure Ann Coulter would NOT say your brother "foolishly" stepped on a land mine.
Stepping on a land mine is not comparable to playing with a live hand grenade.

I'm so sorry for the death of your brother. Your brother had no choice in the matter. Cleland did.

My condolences. But if your brother was playing with the landmine and was stepping on it repeatedly to see how much pressure it took to set off, yes he would have foolishly steped on a landmine and killed himself.
I do not believe that is what happened to your brother, but in essence, this is what is being claimed abouot Cleland and his grenade.

She is over the top on this issue.Ann makes a handsome living on being over the top. We as Freepers love it. That is until she steps on something close to home or near and dear to us like she has in your situation. But in the end, she's more loved for her over the top statements than she is for the statements real thought and content.
