Burkett complained that his battle over medical care with the Guard led to his being hospitalized for depression.

Has he recently been awarded retroactive disability checks, and what Democrat legislator sponsored it?

Listening at an open door to a conversation he shouldn't be listening to? Isn't that hearsay? Isn't that kind of like reading memos found on an open server? Hmmmmm?

How about giving that gander some? I'm tired of getting goosed.

Suzanne is reporting what Burkett said to Zahn, which are the exact, practiced words Burkett said to Chris Mathews the night before. Burkett's friend Conn has discredited him, the principles have discredited him, and the author of the book coming out, Moore, has already had to admit he didn't contact any of the principles for verification, even though all of them have laid waste to Burkett's story.

But hip hip hurray!!! This media witch hunt is going to backfire...on the DNC, on Kerry, and on the media. It's way over the top.

It doesn't matter how many times you ask or how often the lefty mediaidiots cry, the President is not dropping his drawers for a short arm inspection.

Enough is enough.

Wouldn't it have been better to shred the file instead of just throwing it in the waste paper basket ?

The story as this guy tells it stinks.

"This is no new allegation, this is no new case, and this is no new fact. The fact is the same today as it was in 1997. And God is my pilot, and God is in my foxhole."

Sounds like a nut to me.

In the letter, Burkett complained that his battle over medical care with the Guard led to his being hospitalized for depression.

He's a nut job, from all indications. Only CNN would go with this trash without doing more fact checking. Or CBS. Or NBC. Or ABC. Or Newsweak. Or Time. Or . . . you get the picture.

You can't tell the players without a program.......

I'll add this one only because I think the look on Matthews' face is hysterical........

45s or 33 1/3rds?

"The whole story is bogus, if I was trying to cover something up I wouldn't leave the evidence intact. Either burn it or shred it."

And wouldn't you do it yourself, or at least be present when it was done? Who would rely on someone else to do this without making sure firsthand that it was done?

This story stinks from beginning to end; a loon malcontent is being given more credibility than the President of the United States by the US press corps. Just think about that.........

The point is - the REAL files were not at the base when Bush was Governor. The REAL files were in Colorado. Only a copy would have been at the TX base. They could probably do with it what they deemed appropriate. No matter what they did, it wouldn't change the records in Colorado.

This is just another of the false witnesses the Clintons have dragged out to try to prove the President did something wrong.

Moore said Burkett's "reputation is impeccable."

No dude, it's not. This guy is a kook. Seems like I heard more info came out today documenting Burket as a disgruntled Guardsman with a gripe over medical treatment. It figures that Malvoux/cnn would hold this bozo up at 14:55 on the clock of his fifteen minutes.
