"$5 million mortgage, with favorable interest rates, according to a calculation system on the Mortgage Bankers Association Web site, would be $30,389, or $364,668 a year."

As noted above, it is AGAINST the law for Teresa to pay back this loan. How much does a Senator make a year?

"Sen. Kerry is a man who has considerable assets," says Michael Meehan, a campaign spokesman.

Kerry's government disclosure form, covering 2002, gives no hint of what those assets might be.

Where is the media?

The law's not going to stop these guys. The law is for suckers- not rich dems who the media tap to become president.

Not really. It would only be deemed unlawful if a REPUBLICAN'S wife paid back a loan.

Aides hint that Kerry may own other non-investment property that could be sold to satisfy the debt, but they won't provide details.

I have a few other questions?

Who supported Kerry after his military discharge? Who paid for his law school education? Who supported him during his attendance at law school?

There's been no record of how he earned, or IF he earned a living from the time he was discharged in January of 1970 until he entered Boston Law School in September of 1973. Enquiring minds want to know. I'm sure his wife and/or his family provided for him during that time. It all fits into his moocher reputation. No wonder his wife suffered from depression. If I put my husband through law school and supported him emotionally and financially in his anti-war and political activities, and then he dumped me ...I'd be depressed too.

Teresa gives the money to George, and George gives the money to Lurch. Viola!!

Well, it has to be done with a bit more subterfuge, but you get the idea.

The FEC never catches up to Democrat offenders until it's too late. So, let's suppose he becomes president because of this timely loan. Then the FEC slaps him on the wrist and imposes a fine, Kerry leans on some corporations who need regulatory relief, and the fine is paid.

What is the FEC going to do, cancel the election?

John Glenn just ignored his multi million presidential run debt. Continued getting reelected to the Senate, caught a ride on the space shuttle, life goes on, only commoners are expected to pay their debts.

He was discharged from the Navy Jan 1970. He was already working for the VVVAW, so Jane Fonda might have been paying his salary at this point.

But he soon managed to marry his first heiress (who was worth $300 in 1970 dollar) in May 1970. S

he bought him a house in a district in Mass so he could run for office. She paid his way through school.

He returned her favor by screwing around on her and driving her to the brink of suicide.

This is a $6.4 million loan from a bank with his (well, his wife's) house as collateral. I don't think they will forget about it. That is, unless he does them some big favors as Prez.
