By reciting the Shehada, a person both becomes a Muslim and enlists as a member of Satan's reserves.
Some may appear "moderate" for a time, but at any minute Satan can pull their chain, and they will do his bidding in the end.
No Muslims, and CERTAINLY not anyone who has converted to Islam as a Westerner, as opposed to being of Mideast Islamic ancestry, ought to be allowed in any form of government service, Federal, State, or Local, and CERTAINLY not in the military!
Really, we need a constitutional amendment to outlaw and suppress Islam, and to make all persons choose between America and Muhammad once and for all. If they choose Muhammad, they lose their citizenship and are expelled to Mecca.
Call me crazy now, but nothing else will work, and it will come to that. Either that, or our grandchildren will be speaking Arabic and sniffing the carpet 5 times a day, one or the other.

In case you hadn't noticed, the first amendment specifically prohibits congress from passing any law restricting the free exercise of religion. A constitutional amendment banning a religion will not happen.
