Sign me up, I'm Jumpin' In...
Ok folks, this is where the rubber kicks asphalt.
Bush is being raked over the coals by the national press corps regarding service to his country in the Air National Guard. For some reason they couldn't make it work last time, so Russert and Katie try again.
Before that it was no WMD and Algore, impersonating Dean, telling a Tennessee crowd that Bush, "betrayed the nation..."
...Ted Kennedy belching the notion that the Iraq war was a political scheme hatched in Texas...
...The capture of Saddam Hussein wasn't really what it appeared, for the Kurds had already captured him and drugged him and kept him in the hole until they informed American forces where he could be found...
...Dean pouting that we are no safer, inferring the capture of SH was of no value...
...Al-not-to-bright claiming that Bush has already caught OSB but is waiting to release the news for political gain...
...Democrats of every stripe claiming the Iraq war was a failure, that there was no exit strategy, that the Iraqi people are worse off than under SH...
...the endless Democrat (not Democratic) primary in which they've had a year to pummel the president, castigating him on every issue...
...MoveOn.org comparing the President of the United States to Hitler...
...and on, and on it goes... you ought to be about pissed by now... I'm pissed... and I'm gunna do something about it. Not only am I going to vote for Bush, I've signed up at his web site https://www.georgewbush.com/btlhome.aspx to volunteer.
The most I've ever done is vote... no more, I'm getting behind this president with action and I urge everybody else to do the same.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections

I'm retired, not a lot of extra money, but I just sent in another donation to Bush-Cheney. It's one of the few ways I can express my disgust about these Dem tactics and the liberal press whores who enable them.
All I want to do in November, call it childish, is to put a few comments on Dumb Underground after Bush wins big.

I agree. The Air National Guard story makes me want to write Bush/Cheney a check. It's such a non-story. There is no evidence whatsoever that Bush was expected to be doing some work and was a no-show. In the worst, worst case scenario, if he did miss some weekend duty, (which there is no evidence that he did), he probably would have just been marking time in some office to log his hours. The double standard of the Democratic candidates and the media to try to make a big deal out of this is sickening.

Bush needs to stop trying to respond to every stupid, childish allegation. Providing copies of his dental records is idiotic.
He needs to kill this once and for all by saying something like:
Some folks are politicizing the character of my military service in the 1970's. As you know, I served in the Texas Air National Guard. I completed my service obligation satisfactorily, and was discharged honorably, as did millions of other Americans during this divisive era. A complete record has been provided, I will not discuss the matter further. Instead I choose now to focus on America's future.
Thank you for your continued support.
End of story - stop the debate.
Then, he needs to go beg Karen Hughes to come back and manage this campaign NOW.
Karl Rove may be an effective political strategist, but he's doing a lousy job as a campaign manager !!

Hear, hear!!! I'm signing up to volunteer, also, and have already made several contributions to the campaign. Some other ways I've found we can help aside from the official campaign voluteer efforts...
1. Go to www.BlogsforBush.com... You can sign up at this site to join the grassroots effort in your individual state for Bush-Cheney '04.
2. Set up your own blog if you know how or use one of the ready-made free blogging sites! Add links about President Bush to truthful news stories and information the liberal media tries not to provide.
http://blogontheweb.com/ 3. Set up your own re-elect Bush website!!! If you google Bush or some of the controversies like "AWOL", you'll see that liberals have stacked the hits so that the information that comes up is almost entirely misinformation against him. We need Bush-friendly sites that list links to accurate information for him. www.freewebsites.com is an example of a service that allows free webpages.
4. If you don't have time to do the above, you can adopt a liberal newsgroup and post information from news sources that the average NYT's reading public won't see.
