[history]
FRISKY First Daughter Barbara Bush put on a belly-dancing show at Chelsea hot spot Viscaya early yesterday while imitating the undulating tummy of a sword-twirling Japanese dancer named Yoko. Bush jumped up and joined Yoko at the socialite-studded after-party for Jennifer Nicholson's fashion show, prompting partygoers to throw flowers and hundreds of dollars in cash at the feet of Bush and Yoko. Commenting on the trays of margaritas and Veuve Clicquot champagne delivered to Bush's table before her gutsy performance, one wag quipped, "I hope the Secret Service is driving her home." Socialites Amanda Hearst, Elisabeth Kieselstein-Cord and Tinsley Mortimer hosted the "Magic Carpet Ride"-themed bash and post-show supper at adjoining restaurant Sette. The glammy guests included Ivanka Trump (hand-in-hand with Q-Tip heir and "Born Rich" director Jamie Johnson), Muffie-Potter Aston, Somers Farkas, Kimberly Stewart and Robert De Niro's ex-wife, Grace Hightower. Nicholson, the thirtysomething designer daughter of Jack Nicholson, also showed off her boy toy, 24-year-old Warren Hode, the sole male model in her show.

You were saying?
I was saying that chelsea is an amoral, horse-faced, big-butted bafoon no matter where she is currently table dancing.
Europe loves the mealy-mouthed buck-toothed, low-classed, dweeb. Wonder why she left?

It's well know she got a "job" in New York. She's been back here supposedly for awhile, though she certainly travels alot.

Dear Lord, if it's in Your divine will for me to ever get married again, *please* let her look like that.
Shouldn't losing a marriage due to a military deployment at least let you be pen pals with one of the Bush girls?

That's Vincent Gallo on her left. Better tell the AP:
"Lauren Bush, left, niece of Bush, and Barbara Bush, center, daughter President Bush (news - web sites), wait for the start of the Zac Posen Fall 2004 fashion show, Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at Bryant Park in New York. At right is actor Joaquin Phoenix (news) (AP Photo/Kathy Willens)"

Why should they have to act differently than other 20+ year-olds just because their dad is the President? They are just acting human. He's the President, not Billy Graham or Moses.
BTW, you may want to research exactly how Billy Graham's kids acted growing up. They weren't perfect either. Being in the limelight all the time is probably stressful.

I'd be interested in knowing what Miss Bush is doing that you, Bob, find so objectionable. From my perspective, she is a bright beautiful young lady who makes our President Proud. I can't remember a better adjusted Presidential child in my lifetime.

I am glad to see this pic -- was at first afraid I'd see the former First Lady in a midriff.
