I can believe that there are do-gooders who feel that cable TV is a social entitlement. Years ago a story circulated about the welfare momma pleading with her social worker for a raise in her allotment because her baby didn't even have a bed to sleep in. The worker asked what was he sleeping in now and the answer was "that big old box the color TV came in".
