I disagree with the author...

Kerry must now VALIDATE his claims of heroism and the Purple Hearts, and WHY as an officer he did not report the acts of war crimes he claims to have witnessed...

1. I would like to read the commendation for his Silver Star.. and the records on the nature of his wounds. I would like to know who witnessed and recorded the commendation.

2. I would like to know if Kerry himself was involved in the "war crimes" he testified to, or did he simply observe them being committed.

Under the UCMJ, Kerry was obligated to report such acts.
He apparently did not - until he was before a Congressional Committee.
Why?

Inquiring minds would like to know...

The democrats are NOT the only ones entitled to "documentation" to verify facts that are claimed by politicans....

We all know, politicians lie...

He needs to be pressed on this matter since it resulted in American soldiers being called "baby killers". Did he participate? Did he witness? Did he lie and exagerate while speaking before Congress?

I read on another thread that Kerry got his silver star for "finishing off a wounded vietnamese".

The story went something like, vietnamese opened fire on his craft one of his gunners wounded the enemy who went into a "hooch" to hide. Kerry ordered his craft to the shore, where he went ashore and into the hooch to "finish him off".

Nothing in the story indicated that the enemy was witnessed by anyone other than kerry, in some circumstances if a wounded soldier doesn't fire on you it is a war crime to shoot him as it is then an execution.

This is pure speculation on my part, but if he "witnessed" all these crimes and was decorated for this one, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he executed that vietnamese soldier. Not surprised at all.
