"I am sura Laura Bush has been matching Heinz-Kerry dollar for dollar to groups like the Tides Foundation"

"Right?"

Are you just throwing mud, forgot the sarasm tag, or do you have any evidence? And I don't mean equating the National Endowment for the Arts with the Tides Foundation.

I much prefer Del Monte ketchup anyway and recommend that eating establishments cancel any current orders for the Heinz brand. Buy Heinz and you are supporting Kerry's campaign and his wife's "charitable" funding.

You have mischaracterized it there. What you are claiming to be unfounded speculation was, apparently, undetected sarcasm.

Obviously, Mrs. Bush does not spend millions to fund groups on Soros' A-list. Obviously, the radical left is balls to the wall to take down President Bush.

Obviously, there is a HUGE difference between the parties. It is my opinion that those who take the position I was sarcastically adopting above, namely that there is no difference between the parties and that voting third party is a smart idea, are either blind or willfully ignorant.

I didn't forget the sarcasm tag. I found it unnecessary because it was so patently obvious that it was sarcasm.

Obviously, some people's trip-wires when it comes to the first lady are way too tight. Lighten up.

Might be pre-caffination on my part- you aren't the only one who missed the sarcasm, so maybe it wasn't biting enough.

Then again, the other day I saw someone else make an obviously sarcastic comment on a Laura thread (ironically, that he posted, and it was a very positive piece!) and he was swarmed upon. Guess people are protective of Mrs. Bush- which is nice in some ways (but they should still lighten up).

Oh, swell! Heinz foundation, Ford foundation, Pew (Sunoco) foundation.

If you wonder why the lefties can always get a crowd this is why. Free bus ride, food, lodging and a little sugar money for a fun time.

The fifth column in this country is well funded. Time for a big change in tax laws.

Regards,

Finally, I see in print the warning that I have saying for over a decade about these money laundering Rat machines posing as a sweet and kind non profit:

The Tides Foundation is a major source of revenue for some of the most extreme groups on the Left. Tides allows donors to anonymously contribute money to a host of causes; the donor simply makes the check out to Tides and instructs the Foundation where to forward the money. Tides does so, for a nominal fee. And who are the beneficiaries of this money?

I suspect that all of the Rat NGO's from the Tides to some local LaRaza organization will gladly launder money for a fee from anyone from the Opecker Princes/Thugs to George SoreA$$ to support rat politicians and radical street thugs.

Teresa Heinz Kerry has financed the secretive Tides Foundation to the tune of more than $4 million over the years. The Tides Foundation, a “charity” established in 1976 by antiwar leftist activist Drummond Pike, distributes millions of dollars in grants every year to political organizations advocating far-Left causes. The Tides Foundation and its closely allied Tides Center, which was spun off from the Foundation in 1996 but run by Drummond Pike, distributed nearly $66 million in grants in 2002 alone. In all, Tides has distributed more than $300 million for the Left. These funds went to rabid antiwar demonstrators, anti-trade demonstrators, domestic Islamist organizations, pro-terrorists legal groups, environmentalists, abortion partisans, extremist homosexual activists and open borders advocates.

Is it possible there's someone that's just as bad as Hellary??

This women is scary

These super rich elitist lefties are very scary.

For decades, they have been financing the left wing organizations that hate America.

They have bought out politicians like Kerry, the Clintoons, Carter and most of the Rats in Congress the past two decades.

They control the left wing media and operate like a shadow government here and in many countries.

Whenever you see an organization like Club Sierra, Now, Planned Parenthood, _______________ donating large sums of money to a Rat politician, those organizations are laundering money.

Even the super rich organizations like the Tides Foundation launder this money for a percentage. Often these donations are deductible as a donation to that charity. So our tax $'s are paying for the attacks that these organizations make or fund against us and our President.

Thanks for the ping. Added to dirt file.

Yup we want a First Lady who funds islamist organizations and open border special groups. You betcha.

This won't play well with most Americans. A filthy-rice woman who funds fringe groups. Gotta get this out.

pinging some folks, sorry if it's a duplicate

Excellent point, Gramps.......money-laundering.

The donations are laundered by the lefties and redeposited elsewhere in order to return it to the donors---or to someone designated by the donors---under another guise, perhaps as "consulting fees, or for services rendered fees."

Golly, now they'll have to kill us for figuring out their scams. Jeepers, I'm so scared (yawn).

"These funds went to rabid antiwar demonstrators, anti-trade demonstrators, domestic Islamist organizations, pro-terrorists legal groups, environmentalists, abortion partisans, extremist homosexual activists and open borders advocates."

Which explains why THEY always have higher numbers for their "protests" than we do. We are motivated by our ideals, but we have to fit protesting into our real life schedules. Nobody gives us any walking around money to compensate us and because most of us are tied to real families and jobs, it is not so easy for us to just hop in the car and go to wherever there is something going on at a moment's notice.

Thanks for the ping, prairiebreeze. Having read many interviews with Theresa, I have concluded she's slightly nutty.

A week or so ago she gave a speech to some DNC supporters and never ONCE mentioned Kerry's name. Those in attendance left muttering about how she nattered on about hormone replacement therapy and pharmaceutical companies and how evil they were, etc.

One thing I noticed about Teraysa is her apparent rather pouty facial expression when her husband is addressing his supporters after winning a primary.

She never looks very happy! Her body language indicates that she'd much rather be someplace else.
