The girl in question is definitely Alex Polier, the AP writer

Well, it was a non-denial denial. We'll see how it plays out, but right now it looks like everyone is protecting Kerry, including Imus.

YaYa, I wrote an email to Imus last night -- just knowing what a bl*wjob he would do in the morning... Can't post what I wrote. This was just after emailing Chris Matthews after his awful awful interview of that "yellow dog Democrat" Lt. Col. smearing Bush's Air National Guard record.
MSNBC is a house organ (and servicing department) for Demo presidential nominees.
And people wonder why the President's approval ratings are in the tank.

Well, if Kerry was in bed with the AP, it gives more meaning to the term presstitute.
To: Elle Bee
That would have been a great question but Kerry knows that Imus will crucify him if he lied. Remember, the enemy is still in the process of trying to destroy themselves.

LOL. Well we can't be entirely sure but Ales Polier, the former AP writer, is the one the press is trying to chase down. I guess a number of journalists are on planes to Kenya at this very moment...

how about a soft ball like:

Viet Nam has had a profound affect on how people (his generation) perceive war. Now he's right on that one.
We learned not to trust anyone who would make sure we "don't win" a war.
Lurch is exactly that type of B/S artist we have learned not to trust.

I'm impressed with your loyalty to IMUS but get real.
The guy bent over for Kerry on this "interview".
Steve Doucy at Fox & Friends is dying about all this. He just was introducing a story about Kerry and said "John Kerry has a SECRET (long pause)friend". He went on to discuss Ted Kennedy.
To: OXENinFLA
I take it from some of these responses that Kerry got better softball questions from Imus then Larry King?

Per Drudge: the full quote was
"THERE'S NOTHING TO REPORT, NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT . . . NO" When cast in the light of the question: "Do you care to comment on the {issue}?" - it is still a weaselly denial.
