What sex scandal? Iv'e had all 3 cable news channels on tonight and didn't see a peep ? hummmmm? Could there be some bias in spiking this?

The third president Thomas Jefferson had a 40-year affair with slave Sally Hemings. And Dwight Eisenhower had one with his secretary Kay Summersby.
Both of these have been exposed as lies. But that doesn't keep them from repeating them.
They're included so people don't observe that it's the Dims who are consistently unfaithful.

The third president Thomas Jefferson had a 40-year affair with slave Sally Hemings. There is utterly no proof of this but it has become an article of faith among the libs and the press.
Add this guy Brian Flynn to the list of politically motivated liars. He was sure quick to get the Kerry camp's "everybody does it" talking points into print, though, wasn't he? Good doggie, Brian. Good lap dog.

The difference between now with Kerry and before with Kennedy and Clintoon is the Internet (thanks Owl Bore). The mainstream media REFUSED to print any stories about Kennedy's and Clintoon's sexual escapades. In the last 10-15 years, the media is finally admitting that Kennedy was a "slam bam thank you ma'am" pervert. Considering that Kennedy was Clintoon's mentor, now we know why. But did the mainstream press in 1992 focus on Clintoon's character? No, absolutely NOT. When the elder President Bush kept saying to look at Clintoon's lack of character and lack of morals, not one member of the mainstream press did an investigation. As a result, we had the worse president and 1st lady in our history for 8 miserable years. It took mainstream media to finally in the middle of clintoon's 2nd term to focus on the outbreak of repeated clintoonian affairs. However, now the internet is going strong and the American public can get the news and judge for themselves what type of character they want for the presidency. We are no longer under the mind control and mercy of CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc.

"EXTRA-marital affairs have a long tradition among occupants of the White House."
It is obvious that the author is already defending Kerry by citing examples of behavior of past presidents. Perhaps he thinks this makes Kerry one of the guys. And, by the way, there has never been definitive proof about Sommersby and Hemings.

"The third president Thomas Jefferson had a 40-year affair with slave Sally Hemings."
Pretty well disproven, which was ignored by the media.
Instead, the media rushed out a lame little TV Movie to support the mythical affair.
DNA showed that "some one" from his family had a relationship with some slaves, but there is NO real evidence to point out EXACTLY who!
As I recall there were over twenty Jefferson males in residence at his family home at the time.

Twice-married Kerry was believed to be relaxing with his wife Teresa, heiress with a £350million fortune, last night as his aides tried to deal with the crisis. How about "Twice-married Kerry was believed to be relaxing by himself, with an ice bag last night as his aides tried to deal with the crisis.

Kerry was already sinking because of his past association with Hanoi Jane. This sex scandal is something the Democrats can handle (it's softer than the truth about Kerry's politics).

Any guesses as to who arranged for this material to leak?
My guess is Hillary Rotten Clinton, aka the Hildabeast, aka the Former First Madam, aka the Former First Floozie, aka Hitlery.

Bill Clinton was caught lying when he denied having sex with intern Monica Lewinsky. He was ridiculed when she gave details of their lovelife and Clinton narrowly avoided being thrown out. Thrown out of what? The Oval Orifice? Everybody knew that was never going to happen. Come on!

Is it me, or does there seem to be a lack of substantiating details to this 'scandal'? There's no "there" there, yet. So far, it's much ado about...not much.
Kerry wanted her to work for him a few years back. So far, that's all they've got? What's the big deal?
Don't get me wrong, I certainly doubt Kerry is above horndogging and philandering. I just think it's premature to try to create some big ruckus over something that hasn't even been verified. Let's wait until we have some dates and times, at least, before we go nuts.
