The colonel is saying that being in the ANG was not a cushy job. He was in Bushes squadron.

It was not a cakewalk and several men lost their lives. Many were killed in peacetime accidents.

I saw this guy on FOX. He wasn`t really supporting the President, he was just telling his story to dispute some of the things being presented in the media on GW he found to be false. Since he was there at the time, he has some valid information.

He seemed like a straight forward guy. And put down some of the damning information many in the media are reporting.

He is worth a watch, thats for sure.

The blanket charge that the guard and reserve was a way out of war is wrong. Bush could have been sent to fight at any time.

He is upset with the media lying about Bush. He is impressed with all of the records that Bush has been able to produce all the records to prove his service.

He is sure that the controversy is a political issue from people who don't know what they are talking about.

40% of those fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan are in the reserves and the charges against Bush are hurting our military.

Col. Campenni had a letter to the editor published in The Washington Times yesterday ('Bush and I were lieutenants'); it was posted a couple of times on Free Republic. The original post is at:
