O'Reilly has a lot more class than Rush. When Rush started gloating about Kerry's affair today it was so repulsive. O'Reilly is not as conservative, but he seems like a decent, fair-minded man. I don't hear O'Reilly going on and on about himself like Rush does. Rush should get over himself.

Why do you listen to Rush then? >> no reply wanted <<

O'Reilly was in Rush's class.

"O'Reilly is an ANAL-IST!"
Well, analytical is the process; thoughtful digestion of ideas. . .
Do like much of what he says; but it is becoming clear that he does suffer some serious 'digestion' problems.

I don't get it. What do you want to do, ruin O'reilly? So we can be back where we were 4 or 5 years ago with nothing but the Clinton News Network? O'reilly barks at the republicans once in a while...sometimes they deserve it.

O'Reilly's doing a great job of ruining himself.
He's read his rating numbers and it's gone to his head.

He came on Fox and I switched channels.Lucky you did. He went on a rant that we shouldn't worry about what Kerry said about Vietnam. Thanks to Kerry's lies, POW-MIAs died in captivity instead of being rescued. There's no way we can let that go. It's the basis of character.

What a crock. He could have said the same things on the O'Reilly Factor, and nobody except for us freepers would have noticed. But he made sure to do it on Good Morning America, to get maximum exposure.

Rush didn't try to get Al Franken's book "Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot" stopped because it used his name; O'Reilly, on the other hand, made Fox look ridiculous by trying to get Al Franken's latest book stopped because it had O'Reilly's picture on the cover.
And don't think O'Reilly's passing on the Kerry story because he has class; he's passing on it because it's from Matt Drudge, who has proven that O'Reilly was lying about his book sales.

You've made good points. My hope is that both men, and indeed, all media conservatives will be held to high ethical standards and not be given a pass for behavior that undermines their credibility. When Rush is good, he's very, very good, but when he's bad he's horrid--about 50% of the time, in my opinion. Feedback from their listeners is a way to clear the air and keep us fair and honest. At least we can give O'Reilly feedback without having to pay for it, unlike Rush who requires a subscription payment to email him.
cheers,

I disagree. While I like Bill O'Reilly and his novel is great; he is sometimes too opinionated and doesn't see all the facts.

I agree with everything you say here, except I thought that you could email Rush without paying for the Rush 24/7 service. Take care.
