By JOHN RICE, Associated Press Writer GUADALAJARA, Mexico - The boos nearly drowned out "The Star-Spangled Banner," and a few dozen fans chanted "Osama! Osama!" as the United States was eliminated by Mexico in Olympic men's soccer qualifying.

Give them Mexico back, and they'll get over it. Start with California.

Don't worry. You're getting your treasonous wish.

Mexico is noted for its motherhood. There are a bunch of them that work in the Boystown section of Ciudad Acuna across from Del Rio, Texas and are representative of the ethics, morality and sensibilities of the Mexicans. They were probably the mothers of the ones that chanted Osama, Osama and of the Mexican athletes at the soccer game.

Are you speaking of the great murals in Chicano Park? That's some real high brow art, eh? A few years ago, a "hate group" vandalized those eyesores and painted some anti-Mexican grafitti on them. To add insult to injury, this "artwork" was paid for by San Diego taxpayers. "Artist" Mario Torero and his band of shakedown scammers have bamboozled even more money from the public to repaint those pieces of crap. By the way, "Varrio, si, Yonke, No" loosely translates to "The neighborhood yes, Junk, no" At least you know not to exit the freeway there if you don't want to be assaulted by the homeboys that live in Barrio Logan.

LOL!

"Treasonous wish" indeed.

California is ours, no contest, but I'm not so idiotic not to understand what the core reasons are for the resentment for all things Estadounidenses by Mexicans.

Tell me, had the situation been reversed, and Mexico had taken nearly one third of the US land by force from us, how would you feel about them?

Hell, we took THEIR land and you hate them!

I had a conversation once with the coach of the U.S. national team. He considered games in LA as "away" games. Sad.

There are just too many other diversions here in LA LA land. This is probably why LA doesn't have an NFL team. I'd certainly never go. When the weather is all perfect all the time, who wants to waste 4 or 5 hours sitting in the stands. USC is often nationally ranked and they have a hard time selling out.

If we hadn't taken their land first, the rest of Mexico would have remained French or some other European Nationality. The Gadsden was a purchase and Texas took what was rightly theirs, even the Mexicans that lived in Texas fought for independence. The Mexicans lost the Northern lands out of stupidity and greed. Mexico is lucky it isn't speaking German as their second language resulting from their ignorance and stupidity.

The only reason we are in this mess with immigration is because we are not enforcing our own laws and the democrats are trying their best to wrestle power any way they can and the Mexicans, always willing to be pawns, are the easiest way.

So is Michigan Stadium in the dead of winter and it always sells out its 111,000 seats.

And just think, we are opening up our borders to folks who shout "Osama", "Osama"!

Bush protecting the homeland?

How many murders do you think have been committed by illegal aliens over the past 3 years? Do you think the number is greater than, or less than the amount of casualties in 9/11?

Is Bush really strong on National Defense?

Perfect? High's in the 60's for the last two months, and lows in the lower 40's at night, and wundy as heck.

In May and June the entire basin is shrouded in fog from 5am to 3pm daily. (Surely you know about "June Gloom"?)

You can see the sun 30 days out of the year when the smog is blown out by the Santa Ana's.

Weather in LA isn't horrible like Chicago, but it isn't even close to perfect.

Our perfect weather is one of those TV myths.

No, it's theirs. They took it. Trust me on this one.

When the bus drivers no longer speak English, and you see more Mexican flags than American Flags, and you have to press a button for LA's second language (English) when calling a service agancy ... it isn't ours anymore.

Maybe on the map it's ours, but Mexico owns it.

Look out your window today? Yesterday? Day before..? Beautiful.
Also, your 30 day figure is ridiculous.

There are a number of countries in Europe that have lost significant territory to neighbors, some rather recently, yet they don't seem to share the animosity that Mexico has toward the USA. Why? Because those countries are more or less co-equals. Mexico, one the other hand, is its neighbor's equal in precious little. It's problem isn't a territorial grudge, it's an inferiority complex.

Ben Franklin felt the same way about Germans in his day, they did not destroy the Republic as he feared.
