`Very active':
Joe LeFevers, a member of the 187th in 1972, said he remembers seeing Bush in unit offices and being told that Bush was in Montgomery to work on Blount's campaign.
"I was going in the orderly room over there one day, and they said, `This is Lt. Bush,'" LeFevers said Tuesday. "They pointed him out to me ... the reason I remember it is because I associate him with Red Blount."
Red Blount's son, Winton Blount III, said Bush was the campaign's deputy manager and spent a lot of time in Birmingham and north Alabama.
"He was a very active part of that campaign," said Blount. "And as my aunt said, she hoped people would act as nice in other people's homes as he did."

His father obviously used his CIA connections to forge the dental exam records.
Either that, or W. has an evil twin running loose in the country getting dental exams in his name!
Either way, further investigations are warranted!

To forestall the kinds of accidents others have suggested, I think that the White House and the RNC need to get Mr. LeFevers "vetted" and on tape (preferably video) ASAP. The may also want to use the old counterintelligence gimmick of asking him for the names of three other people who knew him and/or "Lt Bush" during the period in question. It's a shame we have to go through this (especially with the documentary evidence of the President's service mounting by the day), but the President himself opened this can of worms when he responded to Russert's question. Doubtless both the DNC and the Democrat-friendly press had all the "negative" information (to include the "I don't remember him" interviews) lined up before the initial story broke with the intent of releasing them bit by bit to refute any attempted defense by the White House. The training, pay and dental records must have come as a shock, and threw them off their stride. It's time to stick a fork in this by producing the "brother" to vouch for the President (assuming Mr. LeFevers is on the up and up).

They should just stop talkin' about it.
Most Sheeple don't care about this, just like they didn't care about Slick Willard's bedside manners. The White House keeps fanning the flames, unfortunately.

So Mr. LeFevers see Bush on ONE occasion? Only once? or is something else missing? Also, who are the THEY he is referring to? This would seem to indicate more people saw Bush. There are some holes here that need filling.

These guys say they don't remember him. Hell, I played football for 4 years with a groups of 60 guys in the late 60s...I can't remember ANY of their names...except for those I was close friends with.
It's very hard to prove a negative, and these guys don't come close. The records say he was there.
To: jwalsh07
Nice. I couldn't believe that when I heard that today on ABC Radio.
Does any one have a story to the "Bush's teeth were in Alambama, doesn't mean that he was" comment from some idiot Senator/Representative?

GREAT COMMENT ABOUT THE PRESIDENT FROM A NATIONAL GUARD COLONEL TODAY IN HARRISBURG, PA:
For several honored guests, including Air National Guard Col. James Lillis, the arrival provided a rare close up look at the president.
"I've always respected him, maybe even more so than other presidents, because he's one of us. He's an Air National Guardsman," Lillis said. "He puts you right at ease. He looks at you and you can tell he's a real guy."
