Following is an email sent out to Clark supporters just mere hours ago, asking for more money.

Dear fellow Clark supporter,

After 5 months, over 375,000 votes, and stops in more than 30 states, our campaign for the presidency has reached an end.  But the campaign for America's future -- for the future of all of our families -- continues on.

I can't thank you enough for all of your support.  Your letters and phone calls to voters, your financial support, and your volunteer efforts across the country have made a huge difference in this campaign.

Our fight for America's future is not over.  As General Clark said yesterday, America's best days lie ahead of us, and our party's campaign to change America is just beginning.

We'd like to commemorate your participation in this historic effort -- a true grassroots movement that drafted Wes Clark as a presidential candidate, mobilized nationwide support for his run for the White House, and will continue to fight for a better America.

With a contribution of $100 today, we will add your name to a special plaque to be presented to General Clark, commemorating the American patriots like you who have fueled his campaign and will stand with him in the months and years ahead.  Your name will appear alongside hundreds of others who have been integral to the success of our effort and pledge their ongoing support to Wes Clark.

Tell Wes Clark that you stand with him -- today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead!

While Wes Clark's presidential campaign has ended, his service to our nation continues.  And we are committed to working with him and others in our party to build a new and better America.

Wes Clark will be doing everything he can in the weeks and months ahead to make sure George W. Bush doesn't play politics with national security.  He's going to take back the discussion of values for the Democratic party: faith, family, patriotism, and inclusive leadership.  This soldier will not fade away -- he'll be out in the field and out in front, taking on the Republicans, working on our issues, and supporting our Democratic candidates.

But he can't do that work alone.

Join Wes Clark's campaign to build a better America!

Again, I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for this campaign.  Every day, all of us here in Little Rock were inspired by your tireless dedication and support.  You kept us going, day after day.  And for that, I will always be grateful.

I look forward to working with you in the years ahead, as we fight alongside Wes Clark for a better America.

Best regards,

Paul Johnson
Campaign Manager
Clark for President

Yesterday, FOX mentioned he was out of cash and couldn't pay staff workers - who knows, maybe some of those Dims will actually pony up the cash. Sure....

Curiouser and curiouser.

First a story that suggest Clark predicts real problems for kerry over infidelity rumors. Next an endorsement for Kerry and now we find that hes still collecting money.

Another thing ive thought about is the possibility of being swapped as democrats have done in the past. most notable is the Torricelli/Laughtenburg swap.

Federal Matching Funds will double your support up to $250.

So we conservatives can pay taxes so that the democrats can pay their staff.

Jesus Christ! Talk about an ego trip. Imagine if a Republican was trying to squeeze idiots for money after he dropped out?

Clark lost his credibility (never had one, in my opinion) when he was endorsed by Michael Moore, what a moron!

Very interesting. Clark probably struck a deal with Kerry to pay off his cpaign debts in exchange for an endorsement. No one else has any money.
