Have we forgotten about Bubba, and the fact that what a man does with his private life doesn't matter?
Look for the media to do NOTHING with this story.
Absolutely nothing.
He was already President. It makes a difference. It really does.
It doesn't matter so much as far as real terms. But Kerry is going to take a hit in the race from this. Edwards will take a bonus. Kerry is running on hot air, not merit. It would only take one needle to puncture his balloon.
There's a huge difference here. In Clinton's case, it was portrayed as an "us (Dems) vs. them (GOP)" story. Because this is a primary race, there are going to be a lot of Democratic voters who may not care about Kerry's personal life at all -- but we are still early enough in the process that the party still has options to dump a "damaged" candidate.
For God's Sake NO, we are not "forgetting". Some of us can analyze in more than simplistic terms.
