I think it's time to update you on a few key facts on this Atkins (search) situation.
Update 1: He's dead. He can't defend himself.
Update 2: His medical records were made public. How would you like that to happen to you, or a loved one?

Thank you, Neil!
(P.S. Hope I did this right - did a search and found nothing.)

The Vegan/Green mafia are in a panic over the Atkins Diet. If people start eating meat again, they might shake off their lethargy, realize they've been conned, and start voting Republican. A major plank of the bridge to World Socialism will come apart!

I heard it - another homerun for Neil.

"Advocates vegetarianism"? Why are they reluctant to implicate PETA here?

There is more truth to your statement than you realize. For instance, a diet high in soy is estrogenic. Estrogenic meaning it gived the user female hormones. So why are democratic men on one hand big wimps while on the other cranky and bicheey? Well maybe we found part of the problem.
To: Ladysmith
The late Dr. Atkins slipped and hit his head which proved to be a fatal fall. He was in excellent health. Rush, yesterday said this was PETA at work besmirching the good Doctor.

Has it occured to anyone else that the 'smuggling' ofa few mad-cow-infected head of cattle through Canada into the U.S., in order to create a panic and stop the sale of beef may be of their doing?

My mom has contended that people who do not eat meat are passive. Eating meat can make you aggressive (her example is passive agrarian societies vs. violent, hunting societies - of course I think it is a gross generalization, but she specializes in those and drives me nuts with them). She says it is a US government plot, not a socialist one.

I had a mom like that, too.
I can't think of any voluntarily vegetarian societies, though, can you? There are places where a lack of meat, or rigid controls on hunting, meant the poor seldom ate meat. But I can't think of one where the high mucky-muck didn't get meat...or at least blubber or blood or something.

Socialists (per my mother) want what is good - the US Government is a horrible corrupt thing, but it is good to have a strong Federal government, because local governments are even more corrupt and bad than a large Federal government (please, don't look at me - I can almost find signs of lucidity, but then I can't. I've worked hard at reconciling her views, but they really don't mesh I don't know how she can think the way she does and remain (apparently) sane).

Notch Johnson! I loved that show. Do you know if it's still on? We have a 10' satellite dish and as the cost of programming rises each year, the number of "channels" decreases. FX was one of them that we lost. Son of the Beach. Dang.

While my mom is wack, she is smart. And I agree, that (corrupt) governments work on keeping their (serfs, slaves, lower class) citizens off of meat. But then again, the same types of governments will kill off large segments of their population by relocation, food re-distribution, or forced famine. While meat consumption is controlled, more direct (and apparently satisfying for the government) results can be attained by outright starvation.

If you want an historic example, try the fact that the beef and lamb eating Mughals (muslims) conquered and ruled the vegetaran Hindus of India for several hundred years. One of the responses of the Hindus was to populate the "new" religion of Sikhism with their first born sons and turn it into what was for all intents and purposes a warrior caste, the members of whom lo and behold, were permitted to eat meat. I can't verify if this is true, have been told by Indians that there are still Hindu families who send one or more of their sons to the Sikh temple.

Where is that hunny "Poison Ivy" when you need her? She said the plants of the world would rise up and swallow the killers of Mother Earth. That includes those who advocate the eating of
plants.

BWHOOOOHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

"Update 3: The people who revealed those records were a group called the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine." It seems to me that there are grounds here for both criminal and civil actions against PCRM. How did they obtain the medical records (criminal act)? As physicians, releasing the medical records of individuals, especially those who were/are not their patients, they could/should lose their licenses to practice medicine.
