O'Reilly `Sorry' for Misanalysis on Iraq (Another sign O'Reilly 'might' move to the Kerry camp?)

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly says he was wrong about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and that's made him more skeptical of the Bush administration. O'Reilly, who has the top-rated political talk show on cable news, was confronted on ABC's "Good Morning America" about his statement before the Iraq war that if Saddam Hussein is overthrown and there were no such weapons found, he'd apologize to the nation. "Well, my analysis was wrong and I'm sorry," O'Reilly told Charles Gibson on Tuesday. -- ASSOCIATED PRESS

I hope the scum bag does go to lurch. That may finally wake up some of his misguided fans.

Look, Bill is an Independent. And being an independent means there is a likelyhood one will be on various sides of partisan issues.

I listen to Bill faithfully. And he has said from day one...right after 9/11, If Tenet had no clue as to any idea of any attack such as this..FIRE HIM! He is a Clinton left over! He failed! Get rid of him....

And now looking at the WMD issue...again it appears as if Bill was right......And he did say again yesterday..if they are still found he will apologize back for changing positions......

P.S. Bill also went over all the misrepresented articles on his comments about changing his views on WMD...They all spinned what I said, especially rueters..."its a left wing service"......

O'Reilly is only concerned with that is best for O'Reilly. Why else would he spend show after show whining about his stupid book and who has sold more copies?

Who is O'R to sit in judgement of our President's integrity?

He has no information other than that disseminated and spun by the left wing media. That he takes that information as gospel and then impugns our President with that information is disingenuous to say the least and IMO, dishonest!

I became an O'Reilly Premium Member last year - mainly because he championed children's causes. I haven't been to his website in months - rarely listen to him anymore - he has illusions of grandeur that are borrrrrrrrring. I am headed to his website right now to cancel membership - thanks for the reminder

Mr. O'Reilly must feel that the only way to stay on the New York Best Sellers list it to be more like his friend Al Franken!

I bought one of his books and was given another. I will not buy his latest and am thinking of sending the two I have back to him with the appropriate note.

hmmm what will O'Reilly do if Kerry's affair proves to be true as reported today via Drudge via Good Day Live Fox (La)?

O'Reilly has a journalistic style similar to that of Joe McCarthy. :') I've never regarded him as reliable, and his backing away now from the WMD issue shows just how, uh, thin he is, intellectually.

I think there's a frightening transformation going on at Fox, however, which I first noticed when Wallace took over Fox News Sunday or whatever that news/talk show is (the one with the reprehensible Juan Williams). O'Reilly may have seen his numbers slip, or may just be stupid, or he may be under the gun by Fox management as it tries to remake Fox news into another partisan media shilling house.

That's exactly what I came to this thread to see. O'Reilly is such a jerk, and it's funny that his timing was so off. He rolls in the hay with the Kerry camp, then Kerry gets caught cheating with someone in the news business.

Wait, isn't O'Reilly in the news business?

(Cue Evil Laughter)

O'Reilly will never go to the Kerry camp. He has too much sense. Like me, he doesn't agree with many of the things Bush is doing here at home, but when push comes to shove he won't go to Kerry. It would take an idiot to vote for Kerry. O'Reilly is a smart A.. but he is not an idiot.

Yeah, I like Sean Hannity, but I guess I'm just spoiled by Rush. Sean can be a bit overbearing at times too, but I still would rather listen to his radio show over pompous O'Reilly anytime. O'Reilly is nowhere near a conservative in his views, plus he is so full of himself.

I would rather Fox dump him and put Neil Cavuto in his place at that time. Give Neil broader range of topic beyond finances and turn him loose. Their ratings would do better than the so called "No Spin Zone"

Hey FNC: THIS has my vote as well.

It's a bit more crass than that. O'Reilly is a populist who belives in nothing and whose nose always points in the direction of the wind.

I prefer listening to people who actually take positions be they left or right.

His radio show stinks and he stays in the limelight by poking people in the eye and them demand they show up on his show.

What's even worse about his awful radio show was that WOR cut conservative radio legend Bob Grant's show from three to two hours in order to fit O'Reilly in.
