I think she's backing the wrong horse personally.

This whole Vietnam thing is going to come back to bite Kerry in the butt.

Edwards gets a pass because he didn't serve, protest or skate.

It is very hard for me to believe that Americans would pick Kerry as their guy. He's just a really weird person. With that Botox- why not elect Mickey Rourke?

Now that Lieberman and Gephardt are out of the race, Edwards is the only one that looks remotely sane. That Kerry is in the lead should be a source of great concern to Katie- not someting she would want to sustain. She should be trying to eviscerate Kerry, not support him.

I'll put it like this. If faced with the choice between Bush and Kerry and Americans choose Kerry- they deserve whatever they get. I wouldn't trust him to go down to the corner store and get me a liter of milk.

Interesting analysis.

My gut says that Kerry has reached his high-water mark with his Vietnam hero thing. He continues to speak in maudlin terms of his "band of brothers." But it will become increasingly clear to Americans that when he came home, he denounced those brothers as war criminals, and ever since has been trying to deny them the means to defend themselves and defeat the enemy.
