Scientists in South Korea are reporting today that they have created the world's first mature, cloned human embryos -- an advance that could speed the development of new therapies but also brings scientists a big step closer to being able to make cloned babies.
Each embryo was grown from a cell taken from a woman, a form of reproduction -- or, more precisely, replication -- never before achieved in humans. There was no contribution from a father.

The vast majority of men have always been unnecessary. You only need a few men to impregnate all women. It's only those remaining few who have become irrelevant with this new technology.

It's still a lot cheaper to do things the old-fashioned way.

How many female engineers, mechanics, "repair people", and delivery "men" are there?
Given what I know about women's understanding of the real, physical world around us, if men go away, they'll all be sitting in the dark and walking to work within two years.

I wish they'd take a poll and see if we women think men are unneccessary!
We love ya guys!

LOL... I can tell you that all us "real women" will still want men around. I have mine trained to put the potty-seat down finally... not about to want to get rid of him now!

I wish they'd take a poll and see if we women think men are unneccessary! Amen. Besides the "roll around in bed" aspects, I honestly like the company of women... there are intriguing differences in the way we act, think, and feel. Men & women compliment one another.

Wow. Another reason I can use to tell my parents why I don't feel like getting married.
I feel much better now.
Now, I just wish they would stop bugging me about it.

Men not necessary? Good. I can quit my job, stop paying taxes and go fishing. Think I'll start my first day of irrelevance sorting my walleye jigs.
