Massachusetts lawmakers yesterday rejected two of three proposed state constitutional amendments to prevent homosexual "marriage."

The two houses adjourned last night and lawmakers will return to the Statehouse for a joint session at noon today with no choices but passing an amendment to define marriage as between a man and a woman or letting stand a state Supreme Judicial Court decision ordering homosexual "marriages."

Mr. Bush "has said that, if necessary, he will do what is legally needed to protect the sanctity of marriage," Mr. McClellan said yesterday.

Why, that... that... that non-conservative bum! The very idea ...! < /sarcasm>

Just abolish civil marriage. There's no need for the State Of Massachusetts to be involved in solemnizing marriage, period.

An that leaves FFC. Remember imigration law will ALSO be affected on May 17. Homosexuals will be able to import sex partners based on fiance visas and spousal visas.

This will immediatly impact federal law.

Just abolish civil marriage

That has been the leftist idea from the beginning! What better way to destroy the American traditional family than to make it only a "bond of love" and nothing more?! Without legal marriage to protect women and children from abandonment, the welfare state will have to step in and become the default "daddy" for all "families" (which will eventually consist entirely of single women and their bastard children!).

Check your constitution. If any state legalizes same-sex marriage, all states MUST recognize such unions as legal (the probably unconstitutional "Defense of Marriage Act" notwithstanding).

Do agree with you-- however should the President, and
Congress propose a Constitutional Amendment and SCOTUS
Declare it "unconstitutional" then we th epeople are back at square one because the President telegraphs his
position on Law by his support of Bill Pryor for the Federal
Judiciary and bill Pryor told Harvard Law School on Friday
6 Feb. 04 that he "respects the law" which translates into
Bill Pryor respects whatever the Federal Despotic Oligarchy
says it is.We need th emassive revision Ed Carnes so fears.
The tree of Liberty is calling for its' Patriots.

Homosexuality is filthy, unsafe, unnatural and immoral. It flies in the face of Christian teaching and values. God bless those MA voters who are demanding a voice on this issue. God bless all those who take a stand against the homosexual lifestyle and the homosexual agenda.

**Massachusetts lawmakers yesterday rejected two of three proposed state constitutional amendments to prevent homosexual "marriage."**

Looks like we still need to keep praying for the Massachusetts lawmakers. May this bill die because they cannot garner a vote.
