Retired Guard Officer Says He Saw Some Files Discarded in Trash
Retired National Guard Lt. Col. Bill Burkett said Tuesday that in 1997, then Governor Bush's chief of staff Joe Allbaugh told the National Guard chief to get the Bush file and make certain that 'there is not anything in there that will embarass the governor.'
Col. Burkett said that a few days later at Camp Mabry in Austin, he saw Mr. Bush's file and documents from it discarded in a trash can.
He said he recognized the documents as retirement point summaries and pay forms.
Bush aides denied any destruction of records in Mr. Bush's personnel file.
'These charges are flat out flat out not true,' said Dan Bartlett, White House Communications Director.

I have worked at Camp Mabry since 1973. There has NEVER been any LTC Burkett working here.

More flack from the dims.

Ya know this might be worrisome--EXCEPT it Does not matter what Bush had in his PERSONAL FILES! All his National Guard files are archived and available through the FOIA!
Anything he had was a personal copy and would be in his stored records --so his people throwing it away would MAKE NO DIFFERENCE! The files would still exsist.
God, these people are F-in morons!

My God.
This is sick.
I worry when my kids take the Metro. I worry about them being gassed, or bombed. I think about all the terrorism in the 90's and about 9/11.
And I wonder what is next even though there hasn't been another attack here since that day.
And the idiots in the news are all over a STUPID IRRELEVENT story that has absolutely no meaning in my life whatsoever except to give my completely democrat union husband a case of GOPLeaningitis.
