Those of you who listen to talk radio have been hearing it more and more. The conversation might start out with, "I voted for George Bush, but....." or "I tend to be conservative, but....." or "I am a moderate and vote the man not the party, but....."
Trust me. As a person who listens to talk radio between 10-18 hours a day and who has made over 2,000 calls to talk radio shows, my observations are usually correct. When you hear those words, you will know that a RAT seminar caller is calling in to attack President Bush. These are, after all, people who supported a perjurer and rapists. They think nothing of trying to deceive the host and claim they are something that they are not. It is in their nature; that is why they are part of the RAT party.
The RAT army is out in force. They are trying to sway the undecided. Typically, they will talk over the host using their talking points. If the host wants to join the conversation instead of allowing a speech, the complain that the host is trying to cut them off or not let them make their point.
It is going to get much worse, and it is quite obvious that the RATS have been training people to do this. There own foolish little left wing talk shows are not where they think the battle will be won. The fools who will listen to those shows are their own KoolAide drinkers. Much of their target audience will have no interest -- they are watching MTV or Jerry Springer. They think the battle will be won on our talk shows. If they can only change the minds of a small percentage of the electorate, they have a chance of winning.
What can you do? Make calls to talk shows. Alert the hosts as to what the RATS are doing. Make sure we get our message out.

LOL! Not much of a debater, is he? Hit and run, most likely.
FYI, this week I started taking down names. There are so many new ones, it's amazing!

My very favorite Bronson flick (excluding his ensemble work). Trivia: his birth name was Buchinksi.

The Rats have publicly stated they are going to this on conservative websites. I'm surprised they didn't start with radio

So let me understand, you either sit and watch other people post as a "lurker" or you participate and make a point or two, maybe write something you believe other people might be interested in discussing and you're some sort of spy.
I have never heard of a better definition of FREE REPUBLIC as what your attitude projects.
I'll get those three references out to you ASAP, you can roll them up into a tiny little ball and well, do what you will.

Believe me Doug, the hosts know what's going on. These callers aren't fooling anyone.
But the bottom line is, they think we're too stupid to see through their game. Democrats think you're stupid. They think everyone is too stupid to know what they're about. And unfortunately they're about half right.

Three times in the last two days I've heard callers start out by saying, "why hasn't the Bush administration gone after Saudi Arabia?"

It gets tiresome, especially when the entire op/ed page is filled with the same letter with slightly different phraseology, repeated over and over again. Sometimes it is exactly the same wording, exposing it as a concerted and coordinated effort rather than personal opinions.
When PETA was on their crusade about elephants in the circus, there was a letter that appeared in our local paper about it. The wording seemed just a bit strange, not like someone from my area would write. Thankfully, with so many newspapers being online now, I was able to take a couple of distinctive phrases from that letter and looked it up on Google. I found four other 'letters to the editor' in newspapers across the country that were exactly identical, word for word, only signed under different names and attributed to someone local.
I wrote I newspaper, and gave them the links to the other papers, and pointed out that they had been had.
Thankfully, they printed my letter pointing this out.

I've always thought for the past 10 years that the DNC had a "boiler room" phone bank thing going trying to get on Rush's show to spew lies and hate. I imagine they will get a $100 cash payment if they get through and bonus for every minute they stay on the air. Of course these are the idiots that think they have to lie to get on the air. As Rush says, bring the loony Libs to the front of the line, they don't have to lie to get on the air, but they are too dense to play it the fair way. In fact I think they probably get some kind of bizarre sexual turn on, like their God Klinton did, by telling a lie. To them its more fun that way.

Conservative talk show hosts should NEVER give the Rats airtime in an election year. In don't know if I would agree. I guess it depends on how good your talk show host is rhetorically. If some DEMwit wants to offer himself up as a whipping boy and get his inchoate political sensibilities torn to shreds on the air, I don't think that's really a bad thing.

>>What's the story with the "Liberty Post Board"? That place is nothing but bogus liberals trying to sound like independents.
It's really a gathering place for people who've been banned from here for one reason or another - a few of them should be medicated due to their OCD to trash FR, and Jim Robinson.

I've noticed they're in FR, too, Doug; newbies or sleepers have been twisting statements around, making caustic and obnoxious remarks about other FReepers or the President, then, because they can't "talk over you," they threaten to hit the abuse button when you call them on it...shameful that they can't just stay where they belong with the DUmmies.
